Brother we are bearish into FOMC. Check your charts. Since I noticed this it hasn't failed. The Thursday before FOMC is when the chart chooses it's direction going into the announcement. It has come at night most times, but this time it started during the day, and it doesn't stop until the FOMC announcement. Safer to sell any bounces in a down trend, than try to pick a bottom.

Another reason for shorting.
The Dollar opened up with a gap down. "Playing the gap" rules say that once the gap closes price continues going in the direction of the gap. Sometimes it takes a while for the gap to close, but this is 90 percent accurate. So.. Price closed the gap.. and should now continue. However looking at how high the "bounce" was off that gap, I see us forming a double bottom, and moving off of that. Only fear is a possible flush to the downside, but my sell orders are open. for now.

Entered buy at 104.57 & 104.67, zone at 104.50 acting as a support since 2018 so I guess it's worth a try. I know that it's against the trend, friday, end of month... anything could happen but I think $ is ready for correction upside

Look left my friend... We hit similar level and bounced up only to then shoot down to 101...

I don"t see a problem if this bounce 100-200 pips and then come down again. I' m already in profit, if market decides to crash UJ down then fine, I'll look to sell. Now it's up.

I'm in this one as well. Don't really like how MN closed, but with W1 being such a nice pin I will keep this one open and see how it plays out. I do think it's probable though that UJ will drop quite a bit in august, but ... that'd be fine as well! : )

I will look for a sell trading opportunity in the USDJPY market this week. Here's why, from the technical perspective of a swing trader. The market operation is generally sideways. On the daily time frame, price action is now at the 105.850 area, an area which has served as a horizontal technical reaction area (i.e. S/R) several times in the recent past. It is also located in the 50/61.8 Fib zone of the downward swing from the 107.230 area on July 23. Technically, the area is susceptible to a bearish turnaround.


I may be wrong. Trade safe and prosper.

My view for this month
Price has had a strong rejection from the 104.5 area of demand
Price is on the lower side way BB on both Monthly and weekly timeframe
Overall view bullish
Target 108

I might be wrong
