If price does go down to and past 69 you will want gain those pips.

If you close now you close now and price goes to 69 you can also get those pips if you were to enter at 69 if you were to still play it bullish.

Not suggesting one way or other just seeking your logic on why you would even move your stop loss.

If you were confident in it going up enough to move your stop loss to then why not just close the position and re enter long instead of going negative first.

The difference is you can't get those pips if it it went past your current position and if your moving your SL.... There is concern...

If you just re entered you can get those pips and possibly prevent further loss

Most traders do....but maybe your both ways is different

I mean I'm STRAIGHT bearish or STRAIGHT bullish....that going both ways thing isn't my cup of tea not that I would judge you or anything I have friends that go both ways

Its easy... Take every rally and every dip.

If market is bullish don't close the longs but close the shorts.

Every trade I take my first plan is to set to BE immediately then leave it. But shorts in an up trend go into my account as profit.

Trading is so easy this way.

I've been trading dax on 1m chart so I'm almost expert break even guy

I became profitable once I saw it as a game and just burnt in setups in my head. Weekly pivots are you boss!

I did have help from someone on here!

heyyyyy take it easy buddy....I don't go both ways. No means no buddy!

and break even want work....lock in more than break even

trading FX on a 1m chart for me is a no no....i might use 1m chart to narrow down levels or to exit a trade.....but a 1m chart can be crazy.....its like looking for the biggest tree in the amazon with a handheld magnifying glass

I said when I trade dax I'll use 1m chart lool

We all trade however we want but I'm saying I trade both ways as the market wants

I trade 30m chart for EUR USD

and guys who are holding positions over night and saying they are moving their SL to break even probably still closing red because they are most likely not even account for interest on the positions they carry over night...

no question its possible to hold....im holding a short position now from the just below that area.

imagine having that sell position and not taking profit and the market reversing and you moving your SL to break even....I have a issue with that....but in that statement was when guys say they move their SL to break even as if they didn't take a loss.....if they held that position over night....they were charged interest so they didn't break even unless that SL included cost of interest paid....yea yea little amount pending order size....but adds up and fact is

EDIT: Lock in some pips and you will never lose you get stopped out with a few pips...get back in
