Disliked{quote} Thank you very much~!! But USD/CAD is going down.. 4H is pretty difficult..Ignored
the weekly high-low is getting smaller.
there are a few things which I consider when I am trading H4 swing.
1) the OP mentioned many times, each swing is 3 to 8 candles, but H4 has 29 candles in one week, so if each swing is 3 to 8 candles, how many swings are there is one week? if this is the case, what is the market type condition - trending or sideways/wide ranging?
2) If it is ranging sideways seen on the Weekly, then I look at the Weekly high - low range and compare that to the average weekly range of the past 52 weeks. if that range is narrow, I skip the pair and look at the other 8 pairs of the OP.
3) I have 20 pairs on my H4 watchlist and these 20 pairs will give me more trading opportunities than just 8 pairs. You only need 5 good trades per week and with 3 wins / 2 losses, is achievable with proven exit management. You don't have to use the TDI green line for exit. There are many other exit options using price action and candlesticks. The TDI exit is not a good exit strategy.
4) Look for trades using the 10PM, 2AM PDT like the OP used to. I start looking for trade at the 6PM PDT candle too which is during the Tokyo session prior to the Frankfurt Open.
5) I don't have to close my trades at 6AM PDT if I see the trend has been established and I have profit locked, and has potential to run into the NY session right up to the London Close.
