Not challenging you or questioning if your wrong or not. I am only trying to understand what you mean when you said old way of thinking and your new way of thinking.

Only seeking knowledge! I am interested in what what determines when traders enter trades and when they exit.

Again I didn't undertand what you meant by old and new way of thinking....I was going to assume you mean averaging down but instead of assuming I ask.

what about determining when to enter a trade? Do you use any type of guidance/rules to determine taking a position?

EDIT: are you a swing, day, or position trader....how many orders or trades do you close a day month or year...do you track that as well?

EDIT: I personally use Fibs across multiple times as well as finding my own S&R but on larger TFs generally and I enter on those levels

Sure my friend. I understand now. I just believe that we don't know another ways of trading. There is more than simple S/R with RRR 1:3 and so on.

I will gladly help anyone as soon as I create everything together in one piece.

Yep I follow a set of rules and indicators as well. eg, since I'm scalping lets say we have a clear break out from resistance 1, I will buy and my target is resistance 2 take profit.

Pretty solid, tried and tested method! I guess that's what separates your 80% win rate from others who use same style but a larger losing percentage. some people cant pick good levels

Maybe your secret sauce is how you pick your levels...I'm sure you have other tools to determine how and if to enter a trade...

what are the other indicators and rules you have to enter

What other signals do you use for long trades?

How does this sort of activity appear? This is happening under cover of normal trading activity with those sorta strange moves. It appears to be a single directional / volume trading.

Just raises my eyebrows is all.

could be algorithmic? Any significant news oct 2017...don’t see the date.

Doesn't seem much strange to me, and that happened within a 1h

I was taught an amazing strategy that I will use forever.

Basically, when 4HR is above 0 on MACD you look for buy entries on 30M below 0 on MACD.

When 4HR is below 0 on MACD you look for sell entries on 30M below 0 on MACD.

Thats it & it works perfectly, I'm just a sucker for trying to laser my entry but entry doesnt matter as long as your risk good.

Entry is the least important thing to worry about because if you gain 150 pips does the entry matter? lol... you can enter anywhere and still profit.

More likely to go up a bit more before going down.

I like to compare the GBP/USD alongside with pivots to make my judgement.
