Going by your chart I guess your target was 2324 (or thereabouts) which it has now thankfully hit. But are you saying that had price reversed and just continued back to SL (which I can see is at BE) you wouldn't have minded? That could be rather painful ! Especially with a large lot.lol. You don't move your SL in the direction of profitability while still keeping T in view?

Not quite, all i'm saying, is that i can be trading "within profits".
until my bias doesn't turn into bullish, no rush to close.
my entry was with multi-entry. 1 was closed when midbb was reached, another when LBB was reached.
quite after that my "read" was SIDEWAYS - DOWN - SIDEWAYS - DOWN.
i will wait for a SIDEWAYS - UP to manually close it. where or when ever that might be.
If you don't know how to earn money, don't loose it.

Why I LOOOOVE compound trading. One trade pays for the other, and the other for the other.. and so forth. You either hit it out of the park.. or break even during a decent move. Not really good for 15m charts, but the 4hr and 1hr? Lovely.

Hi All,

Hope you all are doing well. I want to drop these notes, perhaps useful for anybody who are in early stage.
If I can talk to apin85 6-8 months ago, I will say:
• You know with your spread and transaction cost, LWMA H4 is profitable range. Exception for gold.
• As you know H4 is your trading time frame, H1 is your confirmation time frame. So keep your eyes on these 2 charts. Only see M15 whenever you want to open position.
• Do watching so much M15 make it easier to lose bigger picture.
• It's normal to confuse extreme condition and loosening momentum condition, keep sample your chart. You will smile eventually.
• In order for price travel from MALo to MAHi H4, so the opposite, one must see loosening momentum in H1
• In order for price travel from MALo to MAHi D1, so the opposite, one must see loosening momentum in H4
• Always read the big picture, zoom out H4, to see source of movement.
• Whenever source of movement has not reached the level, keep your itchy fingers to take the trade. Or else, scalp wisely.
• You know, when price rejected from resistance MN1, it will get the challenge from support W1. It may rise to challenge resistance MN1 once more, or worst case meet resistance W1.
• If rejected from there, price will find support MN1. Same for other time frame.
• Patience to hold position comes from understanding the market. Not the ego or belief to hold longer.

good day all. really tricky last FRYday at charts
managed to close my gold short at breakeven when i think price want to blast upside at early london since then no new position at gold and price drop to my target at 1751.
also gu longs get tricked haha. sometimes setup there and it fail, safe trading all.
