when i say market structure i mean a key support or resistance zone displayed by price action itself.

hmmm yea.. so u also do not use pivot points.. but pivots that are caused by price action? thats a new thing to me.. ill try to use that from now on..

I am curious, how do you use the daily pivots?

pivots are actually foward indicators mathematically predefined zones that traders use to enter and exit positions and they work more often than not... personally i dont use them much but there are and excellent tool.

I know what they are but I just curious how YasirYar uses them.

well.. before getting into a trade i just make sure there is no support or res level nearby.. if there is.. i wait for the price to surpass it.. then i enter.. thats how i use them..

the pair still is under the investors control and above the demand line but reached its upper limit. small retracements can be observed in very short term although it is better to wait for crown formation before selling.

the pair squeezed between bottom line and investors selling pressure. any downward movement should be so strong to hit their targets lined in chart.

I received a SHORT signal yesterday... no soon after, GBPUSD went up and I reveived a LONG signal...

To those who shorted it, better follow the "daily trend filter". Daily chart shows up trend - DONT trade agaisnt it.

true.. but if u only look at the daily charts.. by the time it signals a divergence most of the move opposite is already going to be over.. thats where the smaller timeframes come in ..

be careful sometime in a strong uptrend macd will nuetralize instead of print true divergence...

But the daily trend had been going up for a while now. We can't ignore a sell signal but we also can't ignore the news. A good number for the USD would turn that daily uptrend into a reversal and we would miss out.

I actually missed out on the sell signal at the beginning of it and I didn't like how several bars down, it was going the wrong way. So I waited for the news to come out and play accordingly ... lucky me!

Hi All,
I also believe one can not use Mouteki alone and one must filter out the false breaks.

The question is how?
I have been experimenting with Median Lines, they were invented many years ago by Dr.Alan Andrews. They are very simple to draw using Mouteki Pivot Points. If your are looking for a greater understanding of market movements- may I suggest you research these very simple but effective lines.
They are based upon the same theme as Mouteki- that is trendlines.
Try it - you will be surprized.

Back on the 20th I wrote here that I think USDCHF will descend down further and find support in the 1.2440-1.2385 area. Today we arrived here and it did. Took some trades on the way down, too. Not off of mouteki however, but price action.

Just wanted to bring this back into focus as only time can tell what will be right or wrong and now we got the results in. I also wanted to make the point that you can trade the TL bounces, too, still as mentioned over in the accodingly named thread.
Currently watching this price action to see if the low we made holds or falters.

I will freely admit that the 00 natural price pivot probably helped the bounce, but we didn't hit 1.2400 exactly on my charts, just got very close. Same thing with the trendlines, but the space between the trendlines is what I was looking for along with the blue marked price levels.

Just posting my current chart. I am new to the Mouteki method and have only been testing it this last week. So far so good. If this moves above the Supply Line, I will definitely take out a long order. However if it crosses the Demand Line I am not sure if that would be a good trade. The other end of the Demand Line goes back to the 25th of September. Would such a long trend line still be valid?
