1.0895 3lots —> 1.0940 (45pip)
1.0980 1 lot —> 1.0940 (-40pip)

going to learn to keep my earning this week since 2 weeks ago I broke even and last week I took a -28pip 1 lot loss.

Intraday from what i can see (h1/h4)...we rejected 1.09476...broke 1.0986 and retested it.

Lets see if it has the power for a move higher...hence fat and ugly down move

• 4H engulfing candle broke structure ( resistance zone in grey. Look at how how price bounced off it 3 times but finally broke it)
• price bounced both sma 200 &sma 34 (dynamic support)
•Next TP is the next resistance zone ( in grey 1.10776- 1.10940)

Not liking this move anymore... Exiting everything and reloading buy... The set up on 1h is really ugly.

This is the best series explaining how to use Volume Profile that I have found. It's in three parts: Beginner, Advanced, Expert.

Trader Dale's Youtube content is another helpful resource. He specializes in using Volume Profile. He also has some interesting things to say about using VWAP with it.

Where you see a bar extended more than the others is what is called the Point of Control. Price tends to return there. It's useful to use as a TP target, as well as a possible retracement level. It's generally recommended not to trade from that point, as price is at a cross roads there. In other words, it could go either way.

Don't get me wrong. You can trade from this level, but it is risky as price tends to be choppy here. So you must proceed with caution if you do so. Wait for confirmation (a strong signal) and always keep the bigger picture in mind (the Daily or Weekly trend).

Notice in the image how price respects the Point of Control.


It's best to look for trading opportunities within the Unfair Value areas. Unfair Value, because price is either too high or too low.


I no longer use the indicator you have on your chart. It's a good indicator, but I prefer using the one from Trading View.

I like it a lot to quickly know what is being sold and what is being bought very useful indeed!!
