The EURCAD has been choppy recently, i gotten bitten earleir this week. When pairs look messy, i keep out now!

Yeah, lets see SL not hit until now. GJ is bullish, mostly this will move against GJ. Or I will book some loss or close at breakeven before london session.

To be honest it caught me too, the mistake didn't look for the key levels in this case there were resistance levels it is failing to break. Also didnt look to the left I would have seen that it has failed to break it a few times..... after it fails it retracts back down. This is one pair that reminded me to look at where my stop loss would be; given the previous days history then looking at the resistance levels against where I'm opening my trade i.e. the Risk to Reward ratio was way off....

Valuable lessons refreshed and therefore re-wired into my brain! Just look at the key levels in this image... it looks a mine field or pin ball

Fortunate to close 1.50 pips in profit

Hai yes I think you just need to put your order of priorities before trade.... This is what I do

1.i check my h4 time frame on all 26 pairs(I used many pairs but I only enter max 5 trades at the time and pick only THE BEST setup)
2.if there is a setup of crossing or continuation trade on mt4 like hma line changing color I will go to the naked chart to see the support and resistance
3.if I see it's near a sup or res and my trade most likely will not get lots of Pips in that trade or gonna hit the sup res I will not enter it and go to other pairs...
4.in naked charts what I see is:
-Trend line is it breaking the trend or is bouncing the trend line and go with the trend
-Support and resistance
-My Pips risk reward for that trade
5.if the naked charts I see the Pips can go farrr and not obstacle I will enter that trade... My tolerance if there is an obstacle sup or res is 1:1 SL Pips...

Also another tips usually if there is a big movement like the start of this week on aud nzd some of the pairs will move with the same momentum and will get lots of signal on the same time that is the BIG MONEY for me because they all agree on the same direction... If you feel helped with this you can post it on the forum so people will also get helped with my style of trading thank you malvern hope you get lots of profit from my tips

How did you say Trend is down ? Did you check other factors apart from this template like PA, SD, SR, etc?

I didnt realize all are checking other factors apart from this TSMS(R), I was just reading only on this templates, initially with #1 template and added SwingMan's Indicator. Still in training wheel. May be need to check all price actions and traditional charting patterns I think thats not the objective of this thread, we need to utilize this template effectively at right timings. Additionally I believe most of our fellow traders here are making profits and got succeeded only following RH tmeplate and Swingman's Indi. But some they have some edge they are seeing at right point , at right moment, that I am still looking. Whenever I back test manually by during weekends many currency pairs almost 75% made great pips, I always think why and how did i miss that opportunity. But When I enter the trade by checking all rules, mostly 75% I am failing. Problem is with me not with this template I guess.

Have you tried loading the indicator and template, test it out with the mt4 strategy tester? Let it run, tick by tick.

Should be better than eye balling the formed chart since it’s prone to hind sight bias.
