As for me the guide for trade managing, in particular, post about trendlines, and small (but VERY usefull) explanation about 'No trade levels' or other marks of my current trade on the chart- are the best! It is really push me through my struggling the market.

Nasd this UK morning. I did not know what to do. Missed the off at 8 am ( usually whippy so I wait. ) Well I must have waited out the best bit. Sat and drew trendiness and thought I would scalp long side above 200. Result = two fails and one gain.
Criticism ( constructive) welcome. Did I miss something etc?
Will probably do me good to have rubbish days just to keep me grounded in reality
And calendar shows some RED - perhaps I should have looked earlier !!?

First trade was fine, stop was just a little tight.

Those last two arrows -shorts - I did not take them because I finished at 10:30am for the morning.
it does make me cross but that's trading I guess. Most times I do okay then along comes this type of morning and makes me cross
Let's see if US open is any different albeit their are some red flags on the FF calendar to be aware of ?

Living in the US, I wake up early on Friday's to trade forex because I don't trust the US Friday afternoon Session.
Nice sunshine on a rainy morning
Will see if it runs to Prev Day High, If it makes a new high here, will move stop to just below that recent higher-low.
If the double top it appears to be making fails, will just exit.

I like your approach to scaling in. Waiting for confirmation that you've picked the right direction means, if you're wrong initially, you're only risking half your size

Further to my posts about trendlines, it can also be useful to draw 'retracement lines' when you want to time your entries or additions.

Scalped a bit from the Dow.
Two factors got me in. The bearish trendline was broken and the channel crossed SMA. Exit was supposed to be at daily open line but my focus was elsewhere when it hit.
