Would you by any chance know how it draws that PZ zig zag? Unfortunately calling up an indicator in bot is a problem. So have to write the code within the bot

What I did is say for every 200 usd increase the lot by 0.01.
It took a 200 usd deposit in 2012 to 9100 usd to date.

Thank you very much. I'm keen to lock eyes on the patterns that you describe.

I have found a decent pattern using the TrueTMA indicator with H4 and H1 bands.
Once the H1 (green) band goes outside the H4 (orange) band and, upon its return inside it, you buy or sell. It looks mighty impressive on any time frame.
No idea how to make a bot out of it yet, still learning and will not post the indicator here as it is not a bot, just the settings if that's okay.
Happy to delete if not though as do not want to distract from your fine work.

On close up look of the chart you posted, I see it is a Daily chart?

In simple English I will explain. Don (short for Donchian ) . If the following conditions are in place
the top Line of the Don with period 5 is above the middle Don line with period 22 for the past 5 candles
and the bottom line of the Don with period 5 is below the middle Don line with period 22 for the past 5 candles
and the lowest low of the past four candles is equal to bottom line of the don with period 5
and the highest high of the past four candles is equal to the top line of the don with period 5
and the H4 candle closed below the middle don with period 22 and Min15 candle closed below the middle don with period 22.
You may now place a buy pending

If you are able to write down your setup in the simple English I have written above. All coders will be excited with you and codify it within minutes. You just need to identify what conditions you are seeing that are in place that should result in a trigger.

I posted a daily chart as it was an easier way to show what I meant ref the bands.
The time frame is immaterial from what I have seen during tests thus far.

Have gone through your post again. Donchian wont work. Could Bollinger bands work?
If not then I would need the formula for TMA bands. I remember trying once to search for it and found none. That is open source

Hi Scchplendid

Yes I have a Reversal EA on Demo using the TMAtrue as it's indicator and it works well. I would suggest using on a Turning time frames like M15.
Please realise the MT4 tester is totally inaccurate as a tool to determine profitability. Get it to Demo.

The other day strategy tested the donchian bot's ability to increase the lot size as the account balance increased. The result was ok but I realised there was an issue.
There are some conditions I had forgotten to proportionate with the lot size. I did so and bam

if you go to line 1320 you will see simple condition like so
LowerTma(PERIOD_H1,60,100,20,2) < LowerTma(PERIOD_H4,60,100,20,1)

I need to put the settings you sent and see how it goes.
