I'm on the same boat, the only way to trade with profit is to trade with bot.

I was just mucking about and boom Spike proved to be robust. back testing from 2013 awesome results.
Test it and let us know what your results are. Remember I said I was mucking about. So it is not a thorough complete job.
It only sends SELL type order's no buys. It is just that when I saw a nice back test I decided to share.
from jan 2013 it made 780 usd on 0.01 lots. draw down 67 usd. Starting balance 100 usd.
Put another way the bot grew a 100 usd account to 880 usd from 2013 to date. In all that time it only risked at most 67 usd.

I am going to try and explain some logic.
Firstly have a look at the EurUsd chart. Here is template I am using
Chart should look like this once you place template 
.
In the chart I have circled pattern I think is worth coding. This pattern happened on 2nd January 2012.
Secondly I code it . In the program the pattern setup code is called buyc03.
Note that the bot uses trade comment to differentiate or assign a setup.
Thirdly I code two trigger. One trigger is when there is a setup and there is no trade then send a trade.
other trigger is if there is a trade with that setup and another setup triggers, make sure there is more than 300 minutes passed from the latest trade.
Fourthly ; determine what price the pending should enter at, with what stop loss and take profit.
After all that send Pending with relevant trade comment.

Next if you follow me on the above and are cool with it. Join me in brain storming how to milk as many pips from Eurusd arising from this setup.
Am thinking of when to add a grid. how to make a grid dynamic. ( that is it must not be static like 20 pips apart but should be able to measure volatility and from that determine whether grid is 10 pips apart or 15 pips apart or whatever pips apart) Sometimes a grid is not needed just maybe one pending is needed but the bot should be able to determine that using some help
