Good morning everyone.

Still long the USD/JPY.

On other fronts, I saw a third bullish bell on FTSE 4hourly just now, as I posted in my journal, which is a bullish continuation signal. Suggesting indices want to continue rising and maybe the USD/JPY will continue rising too, although the yen has always had a mind of its own!

Watch out! You're beginning to think like a market maker lol. This is one scenario. However, I won't rush to sell just because it reaches those levels. Not without the corresponding bearish bells ringing on the charts.

Most retail traders are split in half on this pair, so no big mass of retail traders on either side yet. Sentiment works best as a contrarian indicator when it reaches extremes.

Yes it'd be nice if it could have a "print £" button too right next to the "make coffee" button. Maybe it's coming in the next version

the situation like i see it. (ichimoku trader)
1. weekly, break below the cloud and like price usually do go to retest the cloud edge (price 117.769, price do that yesterday) - downtrend
2. daily, in the cloud - no trade! but, price break up in to the cloud, could reverse easily.
3.h4, bullish all the way,but that rally need to breath some down air. breakup the cloud and didnt test in from above like usually need to do.
4. h1, bullish feels like get his top.
3. 30m just in the cloud from above.

if the price wont gain new high above 107.770 it will lose more and for me the price should get to 116.9XX-117
sum up, i dont see a reason to buy.

We must agree we all trade differently.. For me, It's just the start of a BULLISH wave.. Bears don't play around such a setup..
I think you also made a mistake with the numbers? you said 116-117? I only projected a bullish wave till 111.XX area..

maybe I am reading your post wrong

After a valid confirmation of the 107 price hold in the daily chart, this has turned into a bull market. I am now confident this could reach 108 later today and also we could see levels such as 110, 112 and even 115 in the next month or so.

117.3 feels like hard to break.
very sensitive spot.

im out of my short few minutes ago - took it yesterday at 117.4
awful one for me.
if 117.300 break i will jump back in

I wouldnt short usdjpy at this point. Even for 30-40 pips its not worth the risk. the bulls are in and its obvious.

If it was a short btw it should have retraced yeterday's move. its chillin between 23.6 and 38.2 fibo. The retracement should have been faster, but its not. Therefore, that should be going up. Anything can change ofcourse, but i am mostly favoring the bulls right. Even if it breaks 107.30
