Analysis and Trading based on Envelopes, Waves, Cycles

Nothing to explain...when you see this during the heat of NY, be ready and "invest" the mother-load....(for all of 30 minutes)

Wish I knew why my mt4 charts are at different levels than yours, but in my case I have adjusted each currency to take into consideration historical oscillation of the 5 minute candles....anyway this also showed up on my ipad that I use to scan, in fact it alerted me to open my trading platform and begin building an ultra short term position....here is the ipad version....

Now in all fairness, posting a chart of the same trade using ######## method (cant mention his name) and it also alerted the trader to a pretty good entry level...

My problem is that there are too many ways to skin a cat, so it boils down to your own imagination and trading skill.
In the dim and distant past I had a friend (no longer with us) that used to rank every new trading method/system that appeared he used to test the s*** out of them and then trade the top 3, this meant that anything that came out New would have to beat at least his number 3 before he would use his hard earned on it

I totally agree.....I found all the Michael ##### stuff is really quite brilliant....the problem I see more than the methods is the lack of consistent scaling, the lack of new traders being to implement using free charts, the instant gratification atmosphere in these rooms, and hunger for finding the holy grail, which any of us who have traded for awhile know it does not exist......I have been watching Laura’s methods of late and I think she is very smart....her method will make good traders if only they can stay the course without adding additional indicators and ea’s and so forth. Her method gets you on the right side of price action, but lacks ( just my opinion)where that price action becomes exhausted, so for guys like me who like to fade big moves at pre identified junctions I need other things to get me into a trade.

One of those is the simple division of the last major swing by 8.....a Gann basic teaching to determine support/ resistance. Another is center of gravity based on larger timeframes, and the envelopes introduced by Parisboy all have merit and are worth looking at. DM got me thinking of the time element and if I can get past my scalping mentality and look at the larger timeframes cycles there is merit here also. Anyway, just a few thoughts.

A Gann explanation of Swede chart - Gann is simplistic to use - IMHO the guy whose name can not be pronounced here does not add significative improvements to Gann methodology. The guy whose name can not be pronounced here just complexified things as many others have done for other methods.

DAX 1 mn Short in progress + 66 points

picked off another 67 pips overnight...closed at the 256 outer band test and failure....now short again as 128 upperband tested and failed...tight stop

stop hit -7 entered too early....

Went back into this one.....so far so good....target at arrow and trade at break even at this point....Also Note OAPDave the Nostromo weekly pivots (based on 5pm eastern time start of day) on this chart...same place where I took profit this morning....so was it the pivot or the 256 Centered moving Average?

ps...this chart a little easier on the eyes...

Good on yer mate, you are getting into the swing of it now, just wish the boss would show pairs that have some interest for me haven't even got some of them on my platform that he posts
