The preset your using has the least amount of forward testing of them all. I would recommend you also use the 3% TP and the 4% SL preset. That preset has the most forward testing. It's been proved to be a good set.

Can you please share the preset please or share the post link in FF. I have viewed all posts but I see only Tuesday preset.

Scroll down the readme text you will see two links that show what and how is the 2basket mode (Yohec's "negative trigger").

Those videos contain enough info so you can understand how the 2 basket thing works. The link to the thread where Yohec explains his approach is also in that page.

To answer your question the setup will automatically pick the -vBTrigger based on the number of pairs that Basket 1 opens. Please see the videos. I explain the setup and also what happens and how it happens (see the second video it has alot more info than the 1st).

rumpelstilt: In the last release I removed the "Negative Trigger" inputs. So are you going to be using this approach ?? Let me know and I will add that back...


I do recommend that you do use the latest version cause there are issues on "add new trades" functions for previous versions...
So again let me know if u intend on using Yohec's approach and I will add it back to the latest version

EA UPDATE v69.0

Folks:
Someone pointed out that the ADR and SetRatio(1:1, 1:2, 1:0.5, or even 2:1) inputs were not working..

Updated both operations...

Remember no Guarantees... cause I have not had time to test this update either.
So please run in demo and ensure that the recent updates ("add new trades" and these 2 new updates) are working, report anything that does not work

Thanks for the video. I won't be using this approach. Just wanted to test it out. Thanks for asking. Yes i'm trying out the latest version.

I do like to request though, if you can allow the "Set Pip Level for Alerts" to have more than 1 choice of pip alert.

I know it has nothing to do with that issue. I'm just saying it would be better, if the EA allows setting for 2 pip level alert instead of 1. "Setpiplevelforalerts" under the "alert setting". It's a different matter i'm talking about.

Its just that you all of a sudden did a major switched on subjects, that's all. LOL ...

There is not much room in the input boxes to explain things so the best I could so was show that you could set either positive or negative pips for your alert.
Then I assumed that folks would understand that you could ANY number of pips could be used..

So yes you can use any number of pips and they can be negative or positive to trigger an alert.

Any recommendation on how to word all of that in a concise form that folks understand it?

EA UPDATE v70 (yes 70!!)

xm7_Ccfp_Wkly_TradeMonitor_v70.ex4

I was updating other EAs and I noticed an error in the calculation of the total daily profit. Made an update to all EAs that had this discrepancy.
Should not affect the the CCFP baskets if all trades are closed at the same time. But perhaps this may explain why some folks reported that the EA was not closing out the baskets at X profit or stop. In the previous version if any of the trades in the basket were closed you could have the EA not close out a basket when it hits TP or SL cause it would not taking into account that trade or trades that were closed. This version takes care of that..

Hmm... i think it is intuitively understandable. But just that it allows alert for 1 level.

UPDATE to EA v70

xm7_Ccfp_Wkly_TradeMonitor_v70.ex4

Folks, just got notified that the setRatio input is cause problems. Fixed the version. If you have download this before, please download it again so you won't see the setRatio thingy

See image for updated inputs. I moved this selection to the SL/TP section

All is great now.. or so I think... lol

Ok, please elaborate by what you mean with " 1 level".

According to the code the user can use any value of pips (negative or positive).

So if you need to get an alert when the basket profit reaches +130 pips. Just enter 130 in that input
if you would like an alert when the basket profit falls to -70 pips. Likewise enter that number for the input.

Of course you also need to have either the PopUp or Send_Notification input set to true.
