Not really, In my opinion the higher TF analysis is to determine zones of interest/levels where you can get price reaction.

we make simple..
max position for swings trader is 0.05
need give room for price to play..
if intraday/scalpers can go to 0.10/15..why?
because short term trades..also tight sL as protection..
just for a cup of coffee...

always play 1:1 or 1:2 for each trades
if something wrong can close early for small green..
for me..
depend to how market play..
raging/sideway is difficult to play 1:2 for tale profit..
if market moving like today it easy to catch 1;2 or 1:3 for our profit..

Thank you akim, this posts are pure gold!!! In my case, I started with 2k a couple weeks ago. Did some crazy trades with bad risk management but good luck and now I'm at 5,5k.

don’t open our position to max of our limit..
for safety reason..
only when trend is play at our prediction so can add max volume..but better always keep our extra limit..

but knowledge and discipline is more maintain reward or successful for us all the time..
