I had not realized that, but you are right!

Just so others know, my: smTMMS v6.0 is exactly the same indicator as smTMMS v5.0. I renamed it so it didn't conflict with something else.

BTW, I just edited the other post (post # 5040) with the indicator in it telling people that they need to change the name.

What is about the change of Period Q, R and S (smTMMS) from 10, 10, 10 to 9, 9, 9? I couldn't find visual difference at 4H. Maybe I don't have a good eyes

If you put 2 of the smTMMS indicator on a chart, and make one of them 10, 10, 10 and make the other one 9, 9, 9, the 9, 9, 9, reacts just a tad bit faster.

It's not always better, but when I compared them to each other, overall, I liked what I saw with the 9, 9, 9 settings better because it often gets you into a trade a little faster.

So I just finished my first week trading this system and I'm pretty glad I stumble upon this post a few weeks ago. I am finding it easy to actually see trades and not having to go find them. An example would be earlier this week I could see that AUD and NZD were the strongest currencies. And then Thursday it was easy to spot that the move was over and started to short them. Still figuring out the trade management side but that should come once I get a good sample size. I did exit out of a few trades too early that would have been winners but again I'm just learning this system and need to trust the process. I ended the week making just over 8% on my micro account.
