Just been following your trend on the side while working. Can you advise i have the method correctly thought out please.

Wait for channel/price to cross clearly the 200SMA.

For a LONG trade: Price and channel crosses above 200sma, Wait for price to extend out of the top of the channel and then touch the bottom of the channel and then take the LONG trade providing the RSI is also above 50 and the MTF all are Green.

Vise Versa for SHORT''s of channel below 200sma, RSI below 50 and MTF all RED.
I miss the early DAX entry but waited for a test of the YH to enter long. Caught a ripper.

Should mention that I took small positions off the table as we went higher.

Hi

Wait for channel to cross SMA200, yes. Or, if trading a channel failure, wait for channel to partially cross SMA200 and then go back under/over.

Once you have the entry criteria, you don't have to wait for price to touch other side of channel. You can enter when price goes inside the channel.

MTF dashboard doesn't have to be all green for longs. Aim for at least 2 of the timeframes relevant to your trading timeframe to be in agreement with your bias. So, M1-M30 for short-term trades and H1-W1 for longer term trades.
