That's not RSI meter. It's a meter showing price above/below 200 sma on MTF.

His trade was actually a good one, according to rules. RSI below 50, channel below and near 200, short entry at top of channel. Even his sma meter was fine... Sure M15 and M1 was green but his HTF M30 and H1 supported short (also M5 was red).

This is what I was looking for. Not to take away from his decision, but to get the clarification you provided. I clearly misunderstood the dash!

EJ, price decently away from sma 200, but rsi is red. plus the price action showing sell pressure from top.

is this trade ok?

First trade with this method. Setup looked good as channel was hovering the baseline, with RSI nicely in the red, and confirmed with HTF dashboard. But got spiked out pretty quickly.

The RSI reading is short so I don't think that qualifies.
Hi Laura,

How do you treat pre market signals? Check out the FTSE here. RSI could be a bit higher but otherwise checks the boxes? 5 minutes before London open is probably too risky a move though correct?

It could be that you need to remove a few existing indicators. Try temporarily moving a batch out of your indicators folder and then refreshing your navigator window.

Yes, definitely too close to open. I do trade the dow pre-open but I tend to get flat just before the actual open.
Attempting UJ m5. Stop is quite close and a few hurdles in the way. Probably not the best of all. I will try to manage accordingly...

Just suggesting in case you changed the installation path during the MT4 setup, as that will still create its own folder for the indicators. To make sure which is the correct one you can click File>Open Data folder.
Took a short on the FTSE.. Open to criticism..
