EURUSD is a mysterious pair to trade now...i would advise, stay off just yet till it breakout of range or at least enter at range extreme anticipating it to bounce off. I do not think it's worth the risk.

Now to my darling, SP500, did exactly as anticipated, last chance to get on the bus, that will move fast tomorrow

..Just did a Point n Figure Horizontal count; Target is 2150.00. I believe it. Other analysts are calling 2000.00

Even though EURUSD just dropped, there is still a chance it will go up. But it doesn't matter, the Euro is on its way to getting wrecked. The same can be said about other currencies. We are living in hard times.

Goofed on yesterday's analysis. (darn it)
Still profited thanks to good entry and tight stops - although not by much.

I can only be wrong once per cycle, because picking the top/bottom of the cycle happens in a tight range and signals are often seen in both directions anyway.
So if, I'm wrong at this juncture - I can safely trade the correct direction until it bottoms out.

So looking for a short today.

What has been happening with EURUSD this week is evidence of why I said I would use the COT report as a contrarian indicator. This has been going on now for quite some time. I am open to trading in the direction of the dominant positions shown on the COT report, but I believe it is being used against us by smart money. The COT report may be good long term, but for short term trading it's not that helpful.

It's the same with sentiment. It works best at extremes. But if you see that there are more bulls than bears, it doesn't necessarily mean you should short the market. The market is dynamic and can change quickly, especially now more than ever due to all the crazy stuff going on with the coronavirus.

It sure is dynamic, which is why I am NEVER bias long or short. I have no view of where the market will go, I will follow a system if it tells me to buy/short I will listen. Even If I'm short Im still not biased short if market changes to long I will close my short and add longs. BIAS will kill you if your a day trader(short term) I've been there done that.

Anyway here is my current trade for the EU. Will close half position near TP, set SL to BE and run the rest to wherever it goes.

COT reports are good for longer term. Meaning building up positions. I do this now with EURUSD and other pairs. Smart money are asset managers, banks, institutions, dealers and so on. Now the trick with it is, for example you have more longs than short positions. But when report comes out, you see that longs are on decline which it will say for example -2,500. That means that -2,500 took off the positions. But if overall longs are in favor, on the long term it is long. Same goes the opposite if you short. Now the -2,500, you can spot it on 4 hr chart and lower, that indicates that some took off their positions, so it went down a bit. Try to look at COT reports and look at the charts with the dates and you will notice these things a lot. Of course major news come into play too. As for day trading, COT will not help much, as you are in position and out the same day. Trade safe.

Sold big lots before the close in the forex market, wanted to pick up roll but also the spread is better.

Looking much lower now as I see the complete collapse of inflation in the US. Confidence is high,
