Ok, now we are at 1.0810. I bailed on the shorts at 1.0833 so no cover but still thinking about the long trade. Not sure it's wise to go long as it's Wednesday and this pair lately only goes one way during the week.

Bullish divergence is showing on the 4HR. But it will likely only be a minor retracement. The selling pressure on this pair is strong and USD magicians (market manipulators) are masterful at pulling a rabbit out of a hat.

Wow, 200 is a big safety net. I did something similar before, but it was 50 pips. Now I'm trying to get some basics solidified vis a vis setting up trades as 'I see them' with tighter R/R levels, especially on the shorter time frames.

It is not meant to be triggered except in a situation where it is not possible for me to close the trade. 50 pips is a normal stop loss, and could easily get hit in a highly volatile situation. It can also get hit and then price can quickly move in your preferred direction, which would suck.

Depends what you trade, which tf, with leverage or not

I trade minimum h1/h4...no leverage. No need of a stop like that. All is cut manually

How do you trade without leverage? I don't believe I have that option.

There is no such option...you jus need to calculate your lots so that 1% move in the currency = 1% move in your account

But i know Oanda.com has a lot of tools to calculate lots and all

I am so nervous .
yesterday I sat on the eu in short and the pound gave a big drop.
today the played dead , so I entered the pound short and the euro crashed.
so annoying
