DislikedAlain If you need a grid ( I do) I think The Quarters Theory one makes a little more sense than Murrey as the pdf of the book you posted shows many examples of all the rules targets, stops etc To me, the big advantage is the grid becomes a set and forget no matter what time frame used. Price action is and always will be the key at the correct levels, we all have our own methods to spot that, to keep the chart examples clean I have left the Envelopes off I would highly recommend that guys that like trading with a grid and have some time on there...Ignored
The key word is Quarter = 1/4
But as all "gurus" they need to complexify things and can not stay simple and efficient.
At first glance after my first reading of the Quarters Theory I could not summarize the "theory" and more important how to trade it efficiently.
Hence I stayed with my primitive practice !
By the way as you talk of Murrey there was also somebody who explained how to trade Murrey in a word file. All that is interesting when you read it, but similarly I could not apply it in the real world.
May be it is a consequence of my old age or may be I was already in a pre-covid condition ?
