This thread has been ongoing since 2015 and this is 2020. Wow...close to 5 good years! And I just got in today. Thanks to the developers of this piece of gem. I've been trading on demo since morning and I'm seeing some improvements in my trading especially when combined with my strategy. I hope to post some positive results soon.

Yes I am a fulltime trader and it took about 10 years to be profitable, and the obstacle between success and failure was always ME - not following my own rules. The day I started to stay focused on my rules, that was the day I started to be consistent. Then I worked on my trade management and my results went through the roof. Trading requires the patience of a saint and the discipline of a soldier as one of my instructors said. I lack both and have to remind myself daily to stay focused, and this was what led to the development of several robots...

How have robots fared during the turmoil?
I guess none of the robots stood any chance because all fair market demand and supply forces were coerced into obeying the policy makers.
Your feedback will be greatly appreciated.

505 trades in 3 days is not acceptable as every 100 trades gives $753 to the broker, so we went back to the lab to find filter(s) to reduce the trades and still working on that, otherwise we will be working for the broker.

and today result with some charts

I have judged by myself.
It is your experience and skills acquired during 10 years are paying off.
I am still not sure if the Expert Advisor or robot has got anything to do with it.
Unless I don't see the Expert Advisor showing live trades, I will not change my mind.

If you have a good trading system, it can be coded into an EA, and in this high intensive and volatile trading environment, we need an equally robotic match that trades without emotion and follows the trading rules you set for it.
and remember,

Hi 919gilead,

I agree with you, and I found most EA will be back to your maddash(37EMA), do you use HGI for your calculation?

I am not talking about normal times. Yes EAs should work based on solid systems.

Since we are presently in different time and my intention was to find out is the EA faring as well as previously.

I am talking about abnormal turmoil times. Demand and supply forces don't functions. No news affects the market. Policy makers are guiding the market and all market participants are being coerced to silence sellers in index and stock markets.

I am not following forex and so I thought your feedback will give some idea of how far fx markets is affected. Ofcourse, volatility has gone up, brokers have raised margins and only traders who are not leveraging or keeping 100% of the contract value in account are not getting affected. Strategically the traders are doing good but margin or leverage changes are triggering stop out or margin calls.

I hope now you understand what was the context of me asking such questions.

It is not a reflection on the quality of your EA . On the contrary, I feel the performance is the result of your trading skills.

Thank you for the clarification, and apologies for misunderstanding you. Thank you also for your kind words. Survival was due in part to the unique TM deployed in the EA and this was also why it was taking too many trades, and I thank God for the inspiration.

Shalom, and happy Palm Sunday
