shorted eur/cad. It might hit support at around 1.5280, that's still a 200 pip move, hopefully more. {image}

Closed first position for a 135 pip profit. Nice.

Just bought GBPCAD.

Strong bullish bar which has broken out of the inside bar down trend. Price closed in the top 25% of the daily range.

Recent trend has been up (if that counts for anything nowadays)

Lets see if the momentum continues!

Good luck. I don't like the consolidation area it is approaching.
I took a chance on aud/usd, hopefully it breaks the high of 3/20 candle and goes on, there is nothing in it's way.

I am sharing the simplest strategy for stress free day trading, I have ever seen anywhere else Indicators SMA 5,0 BB (Optional) Time Required - Just 15 minutes daily after D1 close when new candle starts. Avoid Lower timeframe charts, even H4 is not reliable. Risk - Do not take positions more than 5% of account value and do not take multiple positions of same currency (Max 2), even setup is 100% correct Sideways pattern, see below (Updated on 17-Dec-2016) Long - SMA line in upward direction Short - SMA line in downward direction Ignore - Flat SMA...

Thanks for sharing Sir
Kindly start to use this analysis for my trading scheme
I already use dailly Divergence before, this technique will complete my setup

Hi All, Thanks for this Bk8,
I like the low maintenance, low stress method. One question though...are these trades normally counter to the larger trend like they have been the last few days? Or is there generally good opportunities to hop in after a consolidation within a trend? Thanks in advance

Yes they often are counter trend. I found that following the rules steadfastly often resulted in hitting the first TP but the the 'runner' would often end up back at BE. Personally I now only place trades in the direction of the longer term trend and it has helped improve my win rate. I also don't use two positions, just 1 position with TP at 1:1 R:R. Seems to be working OK so far.

Just want to say thank you to BK8 for sharing this simple system, and it really don't takes much of my time to trade it. But instead of using SMA 5,0 or SMA 5,3, I using Hull moving average as my open position signal, because I found it to give signal earlier then SMA 5.

Also, what do u use to have your 5 MA change color?

No, The Hull MA is the one that you think is 5 MA with color change. The color change indi at the bottom is Heiken Ashi but shown as that bar instead of covering my candlestick. So I know the heiken ashi candle and the original candle.

I used Hull moving average with 12 periode, when the color change and the daily candle close then I enter the market. Other then that I use EMA 50 and 100 for showing the big trend and as dynamic support and resistance.

Here are the indicator that I used,
1. HMA Dynamic Color is the one I used to replace SMA 5 (you can attach it to your chart along with SMA 5 and see the difference)
2. Double HMA MTF for MT4 Light - it is just the same like Hull moving average, but this is the MTF version, so you can show the higher timeframe HMA in lower timeframe, eg. you can see the Weekly HMA periode 12 in the daily timeframe
3. Symbol changer profit display v3 - this is an indicator to switch between pair and timeframe, with the ability showing us which pair we trade (green color means we trade that pair with floating profit, and the red color means we trade the pair with floating lost)
4. #MTF Moving average - just usual moving average but this is the MTF (Multi timeframe version) which can show us higher time frame moving average line in the lower timeframe. (see in the picture for more clearly)
5. Heiken ashi tape - just an ordinary heiken ashi, the difference is instead of covering our candlestick with heiken ashi candle, it shows the heiken ashi candle as green and reed bar in the bottom of our chart.

Selling CADJPY.

Recent downtrend which has pulled back. Hanging man followed by a down bar which closed below the low of the hanging man. Crossing the 5SMA as it went. Plenty of room to breathe below it too. Lets see if it has any steam?
