my 2 cents...

let me add to the good posts above...

trading any strategy is not about just page 1 of the thread... page 1 is easy..

excluding the difficult PA, controlling fears and greed for the trade is even more difficult... especially for trading trains in XAUUSD and GU that can go in your way or the opposite way very fast.. no time to think about fear and greed....

in demo, one will not experience:

1. Fear of Missing Out (FOMO)
2. Fear of Being Wrong (FOBW)
3. Fear of Losing Money (FOLM)
4. Fear of Leaving Money on the Table (FOLMOTT)

anyway, don't give up, everyday is a new day to improve..

Hi mate, you wrong when dont use stop loss. I'd blown my account before so I know how you feel. Now I practise with a small account and give up bad habit trade w/o stop loss. From $170, my account now is $700, I transfer half and trade with profit. I dont trade everyday, I jst jump in when I see set up and feel confident.

m30 have small bear setup..
also h4 bear still in play as long not close yet for big bull bounce there..

anybody else has gold spiking up and down almost every second between 50 and 80 pips? This and 20 pips spread makes it somewhat impossible to scalp right now. Broker is icmarkets

Here the same

After gold ruined me, I went back to the roots. As Akim and Comar said, start with pairs that you can fully focus on -> For me it is GU. Since one month just watching this pairing and more and more I feel better and better.

@xnaro 3 weeks ago I also crashed an account, if you like trading in high risk market, go ahead. If it is nothing for you, then stop. You don't become a master within a few months. Here experience is required ;-)
