TMS Monitor - DOs and DON'Ts

1) The TMS Monitor is not a trade signal type of tool where you can trade based on the recommendations.

2) The TMS Monitor v1.1 only show the chart conditions of APB/HA candles, the TDI#25, the PA with it 5EMA, and the Stoch is not shown.

3) You need to have your trade plan and use the TMS Monitor only for the alerts of the chart conditions. You decide your trade according to your own trade plan.

4) IF you are using Synergy_Pro_TDI and the trading rules are very different from the rules of the OP trade in this thread because his rules are based on the first version of the TDI and the OP was trading using the scalping mode.

5) Trading Synergy Pro system has different rules for entries and exits and the angle of the TDI green is nonsense and does not apply. Hence the RSI or TDI green cross red has other filters to consider.

6) The angle 12-2 and 4-6 of the Stochastics(8,3,3) is still valid if your blend the Stochastics with Synergy Pro and create your own method. This is how the Op did his system development by blending other methods to create new ones.

7) Trading in extreme conditions like what you see on your chart and also when the TMS Monitor alert you to the extreme TDI C-Slope condition requires more attention to the changing market type conditions and events In such market condition, it is always necessary to reconcile with the higher timeframes like the H4 and Daily.

USDSGD W1-D1-H4 is another beautiful example of forward testing result of emmanuel7788 2015-2018 posts on run-phase....

i'm totally eager for emm's to share his result here and share his thoughts as to maybe reduce his position as it is reached 2016 dec high also reaching 1.46189 on W1... or keep going on as we don't know where it will end and just be ready to give back to the market some...

Understand what BigE posted in this thread.
When TDI crossover:
- Green must be above / below 2 / 4
- Don't trade when angle is between 2 / 4
- Enter the trade when you can see green on the other side of red.
That is it.

Trading with nine chart's, I only wait for the alert to sound, place a trade at the beginning of the crossover bar.
The wining trade's are far more then the losing trade's.
But hey, that is me, I only need 10 pips a day.

Here is a good example why it is not advice-able to:
- trade in consolidation.
- not to trade when angle is between 2/4.
- lower time frames, high spread will be a major negative factor.

That is the correct TDI to use. The -1 will cause the indicator to update the green / red trendline only on the open of new bar. (Some coders say at close of bar, but that happens so fast either can be correct)
Also somewhere in Metatrader there is a error in the coding that cause this -1 to redraw certain TDI crossover on chart re-fresh.
As far as I know RSI does not repaint the past on re-fresh and the red / green trend-lines get their values from RSI.

If you want to trade the way Big E described in Post#1, make sure you use his template Post#1 , the Synergy HA candles and use that TDI Red Green version all these in Post#25.
Note that the TDI Red Green version repaints all the bars in history so you cannot use this when you do back-testing by scrolling back your charts. The better way is to run this in live market and trade the TMS setups based on what you see without refreshing your charts. You cannot prove that MetaTader4 has an error.
That cannot be that MT4 build202 in 2006 and build 1260 today 2020 has this same error. That's your NONSENSE.

There is no error in that TDI version in Post#25. It was coded that way in 2005 by Dean Malone its creator. He provided another update version release in 2006/2007 which he explained that during one of his session in his trading room. Also in one of his tutorial videos.

well you took buy and sell trades blindly with TDI cross.
you need to apply Post#261 and Post#647 and take only TDI 'clean signal'.

TMS Monitor Mar 23 H4 bar time closed.

when the H4 bar time Closed, the H1 also close its H1 and the M15 also close it M15.

the TDI default is set to use the bar Close price not the Open price of the new bar.

the problem is when there is the price GAP between bar Close and the next bar Open, you will get 'false' TDI signals due to the gap up or gap down.

Looking at my TMS Monitor for 8 pairs, there is no new setup conditions alerts in all 3 timeframes - M15, H1 and H4.
Next is to wait for Frankfurt Open and London Open H1.

So what cause the repainting error?

The counting up or counting down
MetaEditor Coding Manuel (F1) show this code example: for(int i=0; i<limit; i++)

TDI red green has this coded: for(i=limit; i>=0; i--) and (i=limit-1;i>=0;i--)
