For NON-COMMERCIAL, the COT report shows changes at -51,849 on shorts from 03/10/20 and only -6,887 for longs, leaving the COMMITMENTS at 147,133 LONG and 114,638 SHORT.

This shows a significant decline in SHORTS on EUR.

I am not saying EURUSD can't go lower. It can and likely will. However, at some point we are going to see a change of trend. I believe that change could begin somewhere around 1.05 or maybe even 1.03 or earlier.

There are some concerns about the upcoming US unemployment report. Maybe that is why so many shorts have pulled out. I don' t know.

I only looked at the market a few times today, and saw what I expected - uncertainty (in the form of quick up/down bouncing; literally watched an hour candle bounce like a spring for 5 minutes ). It seems like there's a lot of trepidation regarding direction.

I was not part of the past financial crises, so I have no foundation. But, I do have a projected target of 1.0550 in my notes based upon the monthly chart. however, I'm "feeling like" it will retrace 1.0760 (about half of today's drop). This is probably due to my inexperience; I know best-practice is to 'trade the chart' ....but DAMN, this is crazy!

It is a crazy market!

I think your target of 1.055 is a solid one, as there are a lot of buy orders around that area.

Big Data Day for Europe on Tuesday. PMI data on the biggies. Going to see how the slow down is actually affecting things and the markets reaction. I would think more down. Chart is still trending down though looked like the bulls were challenging a bit on Friday.

Lets see if any bazoooka's come out over the weekend from the Banksters.

My thoughts in general are to sell anything that pops against the USD.

I think it is reasonable to expect more selling activity. But I will be looking for buying opportunities along the way, especially around 1.05.

From my side its where does this stop rather how low can something go. USD Monthly.

Good read related all that has been going on. I will not be surprised to see the 107-108 area touched on the USD before intervention. Good for traders. Should be lots of volatility for quite some time.

And some are already saying "the US is now in a recession."

So USD could potentially crash hard sometime in the near future. Will the upcoming jobs losses report be the breaking point? I don't know.

The difference however, is COVID 19 has put us right at the door of a global recession. So it will likely be far worse than 2008. Since the US economy is still the strongest, there is a chance USD will continue to thrive. But that isn't saying much considering the dire state of the US economy.

Time will tell.

In a perfect world the US dollar keeps on rolling to about 108 and the world calls Uncle....G7 interventions happen and the dollar starts to drop. And we can ride that wave back down again. It would be so beautiful. But I am never so smart.

Usually whenever there are extreme moves at extreme points, its a sign the market is exhausted and a turn can occur

Such strong bias is worrisome.

I'm still eyeing a strong devaluation of the euro for the year end.

Over the next few months/years i'll eye 1,30+
And since daily swaps has reduced, its better to hold longs than before
