does any of you have problem with gold market recently? for example my SL getting stopped out 50 pips away from my initial SL? i am using icmarkets and my friend is using pepperstone, also facing same problem

when and what position, can you share the detail and in chart if possible,
if it's weekend gap, I think it's real and fair..
if not, I don't know..

1445 only test once at previous play mate

hi, i use icmarkets MT5, i noticed that XAUUSD spread which is usually 8-20points = 0.8-2pips... now can reach 51points which is 5.1 pips..

not only that, i trade USDSGD, usually 0.5pips, now can reah 4.5pips... it fluctuates a lot... USDTHB can be between 0-18+pips... so when you sell, be more careful about SL placement... good luck

EDIT: i just saw XAUUSD 60points spread... lol but anwyay i like XAUUSD.. as akim is somehow or someway guiding us everyday.. and crazy moves in one go..

yes, i also noted this...the bar i early shorted might be called a CSD since it came from above mahi's and crossed all ma's, midBB and Ema50.
it also broke a supportive trend line (red line).
the big low wick, and the highest volume of the session (at that time), indulges that it could have been some buying on it. therefore i believed it could go back up again.
but then right before i shut down to sleep, price made two bars (red circle), rejective to cross back up miBB.
the second bar (where yellow line starts) also have made a higher than previous but closed as a down bar, with increasing volume, short sign.
too bad is was sleeping.

yeap, this one of this cases "post mortem", this wasn't posted "live", so, just forget everything written above...its useless.

My Pepperstone is fine
careful when price spike n huge spread occur
sometime system slow react to spike so may cause huge spread but i nvr see 50 pip that much , normally at gold i saw only 10-20 pips if really too fast spike
