London Rush - Breakout Trading System

The Londonforexrush.com system is a breakout tool, before i continue, it's a it's a bit like Open Range Trading, 30mins of the first market bell, a breakout usually alerts traders for the day's trend

London Forex Rush breakout is traded after Tokyo's session, the creator of the system says ''London generates more volatility than any other market since it's trading coincides with both Tokyo and New York

The indicator is still for sale for $99 on their site but i will give everyone here this for free and i hope i wont be breaking any rules!

i will give you the manual, please read everything, it shouldn't take more than 2 hours
When I checked my previous charts for historical testing. The indicator as claimed works best with Sterling pairs as the it is the pound that is most traded at London open, the indicator also has a Market Trend indicator which i have uploaded and it automatically gives you (once broken) the target and stop, THIS IS NOT AN EA

i have only had this for a week now and since we are at the end of a financial quarter, London volatility is probably a bit drained thus no trades have been pulled, please guys have a thorough check on this, this is a system which sells at $99 Londonforexrush.com, I know this is an old system but the other post sort of died out with people claiming 'it stops working'
how can a strategy stop working?!#~ and there are people still trading the London Break with the use of this!

i have a few questions:
1.Does the London Stock Exchange still open 8 even with BST - GMT+1 ?
2. Is Tokyo Exchange any other markets affected by BST?
3. Is there something i can do to give me accurate timings on the mt4, its back 1hr, the server is in London but i dont know why its back, the indicator gets confused as it must pull a trade within 2 hour opening of London at 8
4. The indicator starts of tokyo in its setting at 23:00 or 00.00GMT but according to Forexfactory, its 01.00am, should i switch it to 01.00?

Very old system already available here and there since many years ...

looks a lot like the 7am-9am Big Dog USD Breakout Strategy. Although the times are difft.

Doesn't anyone even trade London breaks, forget the above system, share what you know about the two volatile hours of Tokyo and London 8-10am GMT

All I would say to you is if you are trading London open it can be a good idea to wait until 8.15 or so and orders have been filled and you got some idea of direction. Watch around Frankie 7.45 the starting clues are there.

Second thing to be aware of is that the most important economic data in the UK comes out 9.30 am so be careful - can easy wipe 20 pips or so in a flash. Good luck.

Take the break out of Asia/Frankie than can be safer.

And listen to what Ferru said that system has been around for years. And the results they show on the ad material is crazy - happens once in a blue moon like yesterday. But it is rare. Surprised the didn't show any of the losses? lol

I mean the founder of LR said that you can just trade it with pound pairs but there are other traders who feel that Euro pairs work just as well

About 10 years ago around 2008 I received this system, I think from some yahoo ea group or a web site as a windows installation program. I remember getting trade signals around US open time that were not supported by any indicator or price action. Then I rejected it. May be times have changed. It might work now. I will check. Hi all. I am a new member in east coast USA. As a night owl, I like to trade the London breakout. I was wondering if there is an EA that can do the following on MT4:

1. Count back 5 candles from London open
2. If 3 of 5 candles are green, place a sell order with 30 PIP profit target on session open
3. If 3 of 5 candles are red; place a buy order with 30 PIP target on session open

Can you explain by graphic? what if candle are doji?. London open mean what exact time of candle?

The trade would execute at the start of the London session or if it can make a variable that would be great. If one of the 5 candles is a Doji; the trade would not execute. It has to be a majority of the 5 candles. I am only looking for 30 PIPs. But, if you can make the profit target variable; that would be great. Thanks for your help in advance. Please find attached.

It does work. I have manually backtested it across many GBP pairs and it is about 90%.

How long did you test it for? What were your results?

Since this is already a relatively old system, do we have an expert advisor for MT4 that is based of this strategy and or indicators ?
