Try this indi it is a bit annoying but gives a alert as soon as a Horizontal line is bridge under or above current prize if attached to chart just press A under or above prize ,the line will appear can be dragged to a specific area on chart

no the sell should be after bar 4!!! on the picture in reference, it didnt work, thats because the expansion already happened in bar 4, when bar 4 is that big, i recommend you stay clear of that set up.

you are correct, in a sell, candle 4 must close with only the low taking out candle 3. All your illustrations are right, as long as the candles are not huge the set up is valid

AUDCAD ENTRY. missed h1 entry but it retraced this morning so got in at better entry.

AS YOU CAN SEE, THE BAR 4 ON THIS IS ACTUALLY BAR 5!!!! THE 3 BARS MUS BE A 3 BAR FRACTAL FOR SET UP UP, THEN THE 4TH BAR IS THE ONE THAT BREAKS THE LOW OF BAR 3

There is also a potential set up long if you can see it so this one is risky, if candle 4 breaks on the long set up, my short will be looking for a long
SET UP OCCURING IN EURUSD another short, wait for this fractal to form, then wait for bar 3 to break. then alert for the break of the bar (bar 4) for entry on h1

Hi dazjw2311,
Outstanding method you have shared. Have looked for these setups since reading your thread & they are across all time frames. The candle size of #4 is highly important that's for sure. Although these setups are easily seen an indicator would be of great help. I don't consider these types of indicators to actually be indicators such as RSI, MA's & such, but this type of an indicator would be more of a guide helping to point out the pattern your looking for. Maybe one of the good coders at the factory will code one for this method. Best of trades to you my friend.

When you say, "as long as the candles are not huge," are you referring to example (screenshot) that I posted (post 45) In my screenshot, the setup is the same as you recommend but probably the candles are too long. What do you think? Thanks.
Audcad sell i collapsed due to a buy set up. As hourly closed above candle 4, i now change bias and entered a long

i collapsed with a loss of 25 pips.
