essentially the same 5 candles fractal, but this strategy requires to look at 3 with bar 2 as apex, then to wait for bar 4.
if one were to search '3 bar reversal' in the internet, there are quite a few variations.
some requires the candle to close below bar 1 low, with some even merging bar 3 and 4 as one bar.
so this thread is another variation, which looks good to me.
just to make it clear, the 3 bar fractal is not 2 up one down. it only requires 2 lower highs either side of middle candle for sell and 2 igher lows for a buy, see example

i am also a big fan of fractal break,but sometimes it late to enter on break,its almost time to reversal many times,so it fails me.

Moved stop above H1 candle because of trumps speach, im guaranteed 35 pips in profit. i wouldnt normally do this but got a feeling going to be bad news for dollar and shoot up
Hi Daz I have few questions.. 1) What if the 3rd candle is broken by 5th or 6th or more candle instead of 4th candle, is it still a valid setup? 2) What if the 4th candle breaks 3rd candle by 1 or 2 pips, is it still a valid setup? 3) What if the 2nd & 3rd candle have equal high or low, do you count 3rd candle as 2nd candle OR the 3rd candle is counted as 3rd candle? thx
