I'm going to hang in there till the news is out and over with, see if I can catch a few pips on a retrace if available. What's you experience with this pair regarding news and retracing?

May be no retrace! It's in a free fall until 63 handle.

On this daily based signal my stop is more then 600pips away, so I ignore the volume wich will come with news. My experiance is that in such cases the news can do a huge fast moove in my direction, so strong and fast, that you have to be in the market bevore they come out.
For all safty I have my stop in the market.

Given the horrible china numbers this might gap Monday. Any idiea how far it can go? 6000 is the global financial crisis is 2008, can this go lower this time?

That crisis lasted for years...this is a flu...in a month China will be back to normal production. Don't fall this trap, banks want retailers to sell everything asia related...you can guess why...they need to start their positions for the year. AU can easily go up all year from now and reach 7200-7400.
Everyone can see the chart, but only a few can actually read it.

That had trillions of stimulus globally behind it. I think the question is now. What is there now to deal with what potentially could come. I do see your point though, but 2008 was dealt with by huge and I mean historical intervention in the markets.

I think this pair will remain bearish until price action goes back up to close above former support line at .6545. I am looking at least a H4 close to be convinced.
The true fact is market doesn't care, risk mgt is important.
