futures had a cut as less than 20% even one week out yet aussie has been tumbling all month only to see the rates cut and a rebound in price..

people are selling toilet rolls for $5 each - i think the panic is overdone but who knows what the true economic cost is to australia?

East coast is huge on Chinese tourism and property and the West coast sells all its rocks to China so the impact will be felt at some point as travel bans will be realized soon. plus are there uni sectors that will be hit. Aus skipped other recessions but maybe not this time.. perhaps rebuilding after bush fires will help out a bit but i doubt it would be by much.

That demand zone that I created at the bottom in red has already been used up and the price has moved ahead. So that move is over. However if it comes back down again and goes little than previous move, we may have a buy trade again.

I will revisit the analysis and update.

It is showing signs of reversal and we can have an opportunity however we need a further confirmation to go long on AUDUSD. Here is my analysis:

1. the h4 upward trend has not been formed yet until a strong h4 candle closes above the resistance zone, which was the previous 2 days' high, then a structure has been broken. also above the fibo 61.8.
2. there are supports at yesterday's and the day before low, along with the blue downward sloping trend line.
3. currently to have some sign of price going up, it has to close above the red upward sloping trend line.
4. there's a upward hidden divergence forming in h1.
5. there's some upward momentum with higher high and higher low.
6. the analysis will be negated if price closes below the lowest support.

so ive been trying to sell physical USD for
AUD today and no one is buying with one store admitting their supplier is not selling so they cant buy. one store will buy but max is 200USD! buying for 67cents! ive got one shop left but its a fair drive and they are not picking up.. only a bank left but the deal will be bad im guessing, if they will buy at all that is. never seen this before.

final shop also said they are not buying usd . best price was the bank at 60cents for a couple k.. ☹ can usually get a 3c spread on retailers, not 10c and limits!

Now this was an intressting trade. Huge flash spike just happen at AUD USD. Feeling happy i catch more than half of the spike, but anyone know of there was any news that induced that spike?
Kicked me out short position i created like 1 minute ago? :-( The spike occured on all AUD pairs. I suppose its gonna have something to do with corona.. hmm..

hey krst..... yes it was.... both the audusd and nzdusd spiked.... gave me a whack on the butt.....

the time puts it just after midnight australia time and about 10 am est..... can't find the reason.....

perhaps the fed did some swap's about then with overseas central banks..... usd's are in short supply....

i'll be ready tomorrow....h
to trade and code, keep both simple... no call to impress....h

was lucky. Had a long position and it pushed tight through my TP..on both aud usd and usd jpy.. wish i had my tps about 40 points higher just :-)

ok, i see was some smart guy buying or selling some huge positions, like the fed maybe :-)..?!? Same thing happen this morning on usd sek... strange day... But we are going back now again short

H4 has already started the downward trend earlier.
i hope it will continue because i will get on this bus tomorrow.
