Disliked{quote} USDx is at 97.50 still...if this is a reversal, on the monthly chart USDx can reach even 80 over time. It won't stay around 100 forever and I think once it drops for real, it drops hard, without stops on the way. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Very good question and that is why it is very difficult to short currently. THE ONLY SL possible at the moment is 1255 Then only for swing positionIgnored

Disliked{quote} That's right! If I use a stop loss, it is usually a candle body close stop loss, which I have as a rule in an EA I use for breakout trading. I don't know if anyone else has a stop loss like this. It goes against everything newbies are taught. But it works. And that's what counts.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Imagine that you exatly know where? AT WHAT LEVEL, the trend will change. If you take a long trade, you will set your SL under the line where the trend will change. In this case, SL is not for newbie but quite the opposite.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Yep. I close bad trades manually, I just wait for a correction and close, no regrets.Ignored
Disliked{quote} You never know at what level a trend will change, in advance, and many breakouts are false breakouts. I always enter a trade with a plan, so I know what would make it wrong and where I would exit if it didn't go in my direction, I don't need a hard SL for that...I just watch, observe and exit when the time is the best for it, either in profit or in loss. But the size of losses is very limited this way.Ignored
