I need a new strategy. I am missing out on too many "short" opportunities.
Whatever the mind can conceive, the mind can believe, the mind can achieve.

Yikes.

Monty please be careful. As above, the bearish volume is at the level of the 2018/19 crash which realised a 20% drop. We are currently at 12%.

Above 10% you are looking at more than a correction. This could be an onslaught and a possible bear market now - don’t know yet of course, but it’s advisable to wait for bullish candles on the daily.

The Fed will certainly intervene at some point and there will be a rate cut. There’s a glorious recovery in this yet, but we are still in freefall.

{quote} Monty what’s the logic behind that decision? & do you think it’s going to 25k ?
Ignored
80% of my logic is my guts and some designing on charts to come up with those numbers....... but for 25k thats a hunch because i need a long tail candle on daily or weekly chart to go all in longs......(my usual trading mistakes monster positions at the top and very small positions at the bottom.... BUT this time.. very small positions at the top and when i get my tail candle... i will fire my bazooka of monstrous longs).... Plus if i have to.. i'll hold these positions for this year... Coz.... i am busy with my business endeavour and full time job.......

im eyeing up 45 on WTI. for a buy... but intra day its a good buy on these drops.. we should get a nice swing to 55 soon, but below 40 and you know things have gotten pretty bad inmho.

From a techie point of view 26330 should be a very major support level.... the USA markets may react to the Japan helicopter money situation more than euro & Asia as America loves money liquidity news. America might see it as a sign of things to come.... however the fed WILL wait imo. it’s pointless throwing shit @ shit. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=gq-3ZrjNDpg

Using fibonacci, the 61.8 retracement of the last swing high on the weekly charts for DOW and DAX are

DOW - 24532

DAX - 11600

so... i survived 26000 opening some shorts before

14:18 gmt: @26510
14:46 gmt: @26406
14:48 gmt: @26295
15:23 gmt: @26215
15:31 gmt: @26114

closed them all at 15:35 gmt at ~26000.

i know this violates delta's rules of not posting hindsight, to be honest it was a panic move, but worked.

and to be fair i'm still holding floating drawdown with 7 longs.

@27297, @27199, @27106, @27000, @26700, @26500 and @26200: avg entry= ~26857

also im willing to build more sells while i hold my longs:

i have these new sells opened:

15:37 gmt: sell @26121
15:46 gmt:sell @26223
15:58 gmt: sell @26347
16:07 gmt: sell @26511.
