Of course...you have to understand that exactly the same moves occur in all time frames.

Thanks Iero4. If the money is in catching the trend and staying with the trend, then what reliable and consistent factors are there in the dance in showing
a) beginning of the trend
b) the end of the trend
c) the end of an existing trend and change of trend in a new direction

a) first touch of 10 email
b) S/R levels in confluence with price action bars and Pivot points etched.
c) Scoop up/down + cross and retest

2 trades Friday:
1st trade GU, +9 pips, out due to trailing stop too tight(one bar trading), good for 30 pips.
2nd trade EU +51 pips.

do you pay attention to S/R levels? i would be too scared to short where you did, in my opinion there was quite strong support.
what key considerations did you make when taking this trade specifically (other than nice steep angle and touch of ema10?

Hi Tonny47 in my trading I do not pay attention to pivots and support and resistant lines currently, I follow the 3 moving averages, also I trade blindly on a chart using price movement only to enhance my learning to keep the charts as simple as possible. I would also have shorted where iero4 did, also it was taken in conjunction to Rn 500 and 550.
Obviously I am only a beginner in terms of my rxperience

S/R levels some time should break my friend

I had a very nice confluence there of M15 35/50 and H1 10 EMA as well as pivot point etc. It looked like H1 was starting a new trent. Moreover, I take under consideration only S/R levels from high TFs like H4 and H1 so for me it wasn't that strong support

EUR/JPY cross and retest with very strong confluence. I ended up with +22 but I could have gained more if I had trailed my SL in better way.

Nice choros day though!

One of my first attempts to dance... I would be glad if someone would advise if what I did was correct.

- Trigger was constrainment on SMA35 on M15. Although EMA50 and SMA35 started to flatten out due to the constrainment, they still slope up
- Additionally there is a round number (120.000) which gives support
- Entry signal was the pin bar 2 bars ago - should have entered there but wasn't at the computer at that moment
- Additionally constrainment on H1 on SMA35

what catches my eye: you are playing against the H1 trend. so its more risk. better risk when m15 and H1 are in sync with trend, same trend.
trading is like dancing, don't think and just listen to the music!

Took the same trade. I see that H135/50 are not in downtrent but flat and are tending to slope up...my 1st target is at 120.28

thanks for your responses! I took 11 pips out of it, I wasn't able to trail the SL because I was in meetings at my job. I worked with a TakeProfit which was triggered. This is something that I was meaning to ask you: Do you guys trade full time? Maybe you do now but how did you start out? Because from learning with the simulator as well as this trade it seems that The Dance demands a lot of attention for entry as well as Trade Management. How did/do you arrange trading the Dance while working full-time? I have a job where I have lots of opportunities to check the charts but for example in this specific case I talked to a client and coudn't manage anything other than with a SL and TP.

By the way: Eur/Jpy shows the exact same setup from before again. Constrainment on M15 on SMA35 as well as EMA50 with the round number as support. This time the slope of the MA's is distinctly upwards. As I just looked again, I possibly missed the entry as the price just rocketed away from the MA's... Which kind of underlines my perceived problem with trading this strategy while also working full-time

i was never working fulltime. i always had the plan to make a living from trading. so that means starting very small,
to live economically and slowly create a basis for yourself so that you can concentrate fully on trading.
in my opinion, it's impossible to have children during this time, nor to take out a loan for a house.
because you have to make clear decisions in your head, without financial pressure.
and also without pressure from your wife or girlfriend. if she doesn't get it, you have to separate.
next important thing is your mental AND physical health. i walk everyday for 1 hour or so.

you can make it with choros like kostas. i take choros and the many MAs as a orientation guide. it's too much to go into detail here.
so just keep at it! and much perseverance and patience i wish you.

Birdland said everything. Although I have a full time job so I am 8 hours in fornt of my pc. I also have wife and kids (thats not a problem at all )

I open my pc in the morning and analyze the market so I know where I will buy or sell. If you have many people disturbing you while you trade I think this is a big issue basically because you can't focus.
