Also waiting for the US open.

Dow has been registering lower highs for a week now. It appears to be in a key breakout spot.

Adv/declining NYSE stocks starting out in the red. Quite like this tool..

They’re all currently ticking down on momentum and therefore going the same way.

I am just interested in getting an optimal entry for today and Dow currently sits in the middle of a range with more downside than up.

But to answer your question yes, the Dow tends to follow when the S&P makes a high.

it’s only flashing as a shallow retracement so far according to what I use to determine vol.

Being patient though....
It’ll most likely cover it’s opening gap as a bare minimum without fundamental reasons not too, also for a gap from earlier on in the week which should get covered.

Went long but betrayed the Dow and went for Nasdaq..
