also i’m want to add some from yesterday topic..
USING STOP LOSS OR NOT..
i’ve post yesterday some from that..
at forex some said..
everything going up will going back down
same when going down also went back up..
but..
how long price will take time to going back at our position point?
and how many pips we want to target from its?
for example..
let say..floating red with 100-200pips and price back at our entry point we close them with BE or small green..
let think how many we can made at that 100-200pips range play before back to our early position..
so how about learn to accept small loses and came back with big gain..
however..
everybody will not have same trading style or thinking
just my 2 cents of trading style that want to shared with all of you..
just an opinion..

well..
all above is from focus how market play,always noted down all the action,hardwork,experience and never have a ‘give up’ words in my life..
mastered and trust our system/methods
then..
mastered every pairs that in your list one by one..

i always see lots of us sinks or get burn by market..
as long we can’t control or discipline ourself..
so we can’t achive any success..
not only take ‘jesse livermore rules’ as example..
but take also as example why he keep falling or loses back all his winning money..
for me that the main thing we need to learn..
he made rules but he always go against his own rules..
so keep inside us and don’t go against our own rules..

btw mr akim if im not mistaken on gold 4 H there was a 5lwma bear setup was it but it was push higher rite

no bear setup at h4 mate..
only have bear setup at small tf like m15 to h1 and yes bull keep push price higher..

I skipped to close my Gold positions yesterday as I was sleeping.. I am afraid of gap up opening on Monday, if it hits my SL, I may lose 75%-80% profit of entire week.
I want to use your hammer to push Gold down.

Hi, Akim sorry to bother on you weekends, if you could help me to understand how in tf h4 gold is in bear setup, many thanks and have wonderful weekends to you and to all ff traders.

you haven't read page 1 yet .
but here is the setup which is still forming (sell setup)
1. -how to know or tracking when shoulds we enter for buy/sell..?
first for MA 5 high (red)
we must see if the MA 5(high) going outside top BB
2.after MA 5 high going outside BB so we need to wait 1st bear cs to forming then we need a bull cs to test again at highest level before price to start reverse..
our entry is when price start to retest or trying to going higher again..so we wait to sell at the nearest resistence level..

and a comment ..but market always tricky,sometimes those MA 5(high/low) not going outside but the set up still valid.its happen 2 years behind now..

So practical , we wait for bear candle and then bull candle to test 1585 area.
If break then BULL is on and price will go north untill next resist.
If at this level , we get a bear candle and then a bull candle BUT price dont go higher than 1585 , then we have sell setup even if 5MA didnt touch the upper band.

I hope its clear.

Gold ate my profit last week again about 70 % give back,
hmm... but at least I not fear to enter anymore,

I don't know about Jesse Livermore, immediately browsed it after you mentioned it and found his 23 trading rules, some I understand some don't. Anyway here is my take on his rule:
1. “There is nothing new in Wall Street. There can’t be because speculation is as old as the hills. Whatever happens in the stock market today has happened before and will happen again.”
- Maybe this is why we need to know each pair and really understand it inside out, honestly I don't have a single clue beside GU more often than not rejected at the spooky zone whether it is going to reverse or just taking a breather and continue the move (which I wouldn't know if you haven't told me thanks).
2. “Buy rising stocks and sell falling stocks”
- I guess it is obvious to follow the trend, but which trend do we want to follow, is it the monthly, weekly, daily, 4h, 1h?!? I still can't decide which trend I should take
3. “Do not trade every day of every year”
- Overtrading, mostly I trade London session but sometimes greedy and trade during NY session too but more often than not the profit I get from the London session get taken back by the market during the NY session
4. “Trade only when the market is clearly bullish or bearish”
- When in doubt with the direction better wait in the sideline better than SL hit by stop hunt
5. “Only enter a trade after the action of the market confirms your opinion and then enter promptly”
- Catching the falling knife (leave it to Akim), yesterday I try to catch UCHF I saw daily SR get limit sell order in place fortunately price rejected there before continue up move so I could close position in BE, is it worth it? absolutely not for a mere 10 pips and luck don't come to often yesterday was lucky I'm not going to do it anymore except has the experience and knowledge like Akim.
6. “Continue with trades that show you a profit, end trades that show a loss”
- Yes opening multiple order is better than one order for maximizing profit, end trades that show a loss is still hard, tight SL maybe the answer for me.
7. “End trades when it is clear that the trend you are profiting from is over”
- this is why I apply 2 more MA's MA4 open and close so if those 2 MA's cross it's a sign for me maybe the trend is over, but still can't decide which TF I should follow.
8. “In any sector, trade the leading stock – the one showing the strongest trend”
- As of now the most impacted by news is GU and Gold so my take is this 2 pair (another pair if there is big news like rate cut or another high impact news)
9. “Never average losses by, for example, buying more of a stock that has fallen”
- Hope it never happen again with the tight SL
10. “Go long when stocks reach a new high. Sell short when they reach a new low”
- If price break up/down it's a good idea to wait retrace for open position align with the break like friday gold, but how we know the break is not fake?
11. “Don’t become an involuntary investor by holding onto stocks whose price has fallen”
- Tight SL again my answer, rather than floating just close it, but actually as of now the price for opening position (SL hit) and the profit from the winning position still minus need to get better
12. “Markets are never wrong – opinions often are”
- Just trade what the chart told, but still I need to decide which TF I should take as base for analysing
13. “The highest profits are made in trades that show a profit right from the start”
- Not understand this one
14. “No trading rules will deliver a profit 100 percent of the time”
- Yes it is, but still need to be in the green by the end of the month not always red
15. “As long as a stock is acting right, and the market is right, do not be in a hurry to take profits”
- Same with number 7
16. “Never buy a stock because it has had a big decline from its previous high”
- Maybe the example was GU on thursday we try to catch it not it to settle down to sell it.
17. “Never sell a stock because it seems high-priced”
- Same with number 16
18. “The human side of every person is the greatest enemy of the average investor or speculator”
- Still struggling with discipline, maybe this month end I would setup a trade explorer so everyone here can watch if I'm doing something stupid hope someone here would remind me, because maybe I need somebody help to watch me before I can disciplined myself.
19. “Wishful thinking must be banished”
- Must stick to the rule, for Akim method my answer is to put tight SL near the SR level
20. “Big movements take time to develop”
- Swing trading?!? no I couldn't sleep well if there is a trade still opening
21. “It is not good to be too curious about all the reasons behind price movements”
- Not over complicate trading which is already stressful just find a way how to profit whether it is alien attacking or whatever as long it moves the market and it make me profit.
22. “It is much easier to watch a few than many”
- Yes because I wanted to learn the method faster I watch 15 pairs last week so I could find the buy/sell setup if GU or Gold doesn't have maybe other pair have but switching between pair just make me lose focus on what going on in each pair.
23. “Patterns repeat, because human nature hasn’t changed for thousand of year”
- The buy and sell setup
