zoom out and look at the bigger picture ...

look at Previous Price Action PPA and the the CONFLUENCE of support / resistance.

the PPA + CONFLUENCE of the 50EMA, 200EMA and the BRN 1.6700 is where the LTF !@#$% get slaughtered.

I learn from Big E's posts dating back to Dec 2019 the Natural Flow of the Market in his old thread and I apply what I learned and adapted when I was trading intraday M15 and H1.

AUDUSD is a very good example that price behaviour has the natural flow day-in day-out. The exception is the volatility range has fallen today when compared to back in 2019.

NZD pairs Feb 12

today is RBNZ rate announcemnt and it will keep the 1.00% as forecast.

how the market reacts today in about 4 hours ?

the Daily direction looks to be established as of now but anything can happen.

the volatility can take all small stops placed too near where current price is.

placing stops using the previous 2 days high-low is usually quite safe.

New York will close and handover to Sydney in about 17 minutes,

Both the Stoch cross signal and RSI(3) cross it 50-level, but the two TDIs hve not ....

I see a Daily candle reversal setup. Is this the True REVERSAL candle?

It seems to me that there are misconceptions about the TDI indicator. Sorry, so much has been said here ..

What I noticed is that waiting for a single M15 candle to close or not is totally meaningless. Such close is just an arbitrary time point with no significance.

Especially to forex where there is no real open/close like it is within stock markets.

Looking at a daily chart it might be a bit different but for intraday what happens is you see a nice pattern in hindsight that worked out where you waited for the close and next time it doesn‘t and price will move the other way just after you enter and waited for the candle close and paid the spread to your Broker for the same risk weather such Single M15 candle closed or not. Looking at 12 minutes for that candle you might not even have noticed that there is such pattern/signal...

Also if you wait for the close on one M15 candle after you get your TDI cross over signal price could potentially already moved to far to make any decent stop/take profit calculation acceptable for the risk. Price could have traveled on by 20-30 pips and with most pairs that’s already 30% of the daily average movement you would have to catch such move right at the open of that day for having a fair chance of having price hitting your TP.

Yes. You are quite right about the TDI. Different versions and different settings give different information under live market conditions.

But you can trade the 5 method without the TDI when it becomes a problem.

Price Action is both the Price Bar and its Average Price Bar APB/HA candles. You see price momentum and the HA candle shows the change in phase (colour) then a trade setup and entry on the next candle if it's the same color. Your trade management depends on your exit strategy.

GBPUSD Feb 13 Daily update

that REVERSAL candle was good except the Daily has its 10EMA just above and we see the pull-back from around that 1.2980.
today those chasing buy will have to face the 50EMA just above current price.

those trade intraday H1 also see Previous Price Action PPA to the farther left ... the high of Feb 06. anyone buying H1 during the London session hit into that PPA resistance.
today intraday trading will also see yesterday' high as resistance and just a crowded area with CONFLUENCE of other 'resistance'. ... need more strong buyers break up.

Frankfurt Open H made a strong push at the Daily 10EMA, can LO follow through and move it 35 pips to the Weekly 10EMA?

H4 shows a nice PA setup and with both Stoch and TDI in agreement

EURGBP Week 07 Feb 14 review - Weekly and Daily

there are times those WRBs and WCCs play out well and we make some money...

there were two Wide Range Bars WRBs which are also WCCs after the major down move... the market type condition is sideways wide range which is good for TMS ME/ME trading.

this week I took several sell positions and target the WRBs Lows and taken some profits.
