Hi Panamamike, thanks for sharing your insight.

This is my first post here but I've been using this system for a few weeks. I'm experimenting "Classic Babon" mainly.

Since it seems that you are experienced trader, I just want to share the two things I personally found challenging in this system:

a) It is hard to determine the end of collection wave:

Apparently price action is getting more complex these years. It is convention wisdom that the collection wave is typically constructed with 3 inner waves, and thus obviously second wave has the same direction with the original trend. Sometimes this pullback(2nd wave) triggers Babon slope to turn its color.


Could you explain what you meant by "play the first pullback once the pattern is developed."?


b) "Rule: Need 10pips+ between current price and TMA M5 Band" might need to be adjusted to current tighter daily range

Currently I am being able to trade only with two currency pairs(ex GOLD) because, as you said, the market is not volatile compared to when Fav first introduced the system to us. Due to this rule, I can't really make any orders especially with EURJPY which Fav's favorite.

1) I try to enter before the pattern 1m TMA beyond the cloud develops. I also gtry to keep vigilant with respect to 1 hr charts. love entering on first pattern developing after a 1hr chart is a pinbar or doji.

2) if I miss the initial move, I will enter on first pullback. I try to trade only close to the cloud as moves are much smaller these days.

I have one screen with the 1 hr babon template for 8 pairs. I then focus on the 4 best charts on two other screens for trading.

yes, I do not follow the 10 pt minimum...for me 7 is ok

I also prefer to enter long when the cloud is below themed pt of the 5 min tma and the opposite for shorts.

Download from post 8074. It works.Anything older mostly not,because there was major MT4 upgrade.

normal rotation would be....

ASIA: EA, EJ, AJ

EUROPE: EJ, GU, EG, EA

NA: EJ UJ GU UCAD

of course, on days when an individual currency is dominant, i focus on those pairs.

I try to look at whatever pairs i trade that have the steepest 5min tma.

After trading this strategy off and on few a few years i have discovered that I am exceptionally good at picking that reversal. I have managed to set my tp at 2 pips and have it hit my 100 pip stoploss.

My skill at this is incredible lol

TMA is repainting, but gives an overall idea of the market if you use higher values with bigger bands. I recommend to take at least same distance of stop and take profit and let part of wins run.
