Could be right there about 6700 at NY strong push during the london morning so in order to go higher a retest looks promising.

still in belief of retest? I took some of the gain after RBA, and also shorted today for some scalp, and went in again short after we cross 15min average.

i have long sentiment in this pair... but so is everyone else, so thinking we should first take out those stops... around 6650-6600ish...

also, if we check history in concern of corona virus. Outbreak of sars somewhere 2003-2004, never really hd impact on AUD. Hence im still not thinking that the corona virus and the drop in AUD is super much related? This is why i am little worried of a false breakout long and that everyone talks about that the reason for AUD decline was due to China...!!?

Breakout and pullback pattern on the AUDUSD. The pair breaks below the 0.6770 level and reaches the 0.6700 zone to bounce back to the 0.6770 and complete a breakout and pullback pattern. Now the price is falling again and it may go back to its bearish trend, but the 0.6670 zone may act as support.

Maybe i am simple, but did not belive this breakout as everyone was long. All on tradingview, 82% on ig sentiment retail traders, it felt also like people attributed this fall due to corona, which was false.

i check now, retail still 76% long on ig. Step it down to 65 minimum i guess to take out those steps... this will will be my trading plan...

Buying is cheap but downside risks for Aus and trade tweet rumours to upside made me mostly stop trading it six months ago... even tho it's the most technically 'correct' it lost something.. that said I'm considering buying in as the weekly chart is a blood bath but with another cut in rates possible then need to be brave and deep pockets for a return so scalps to downside preferred.. ;//

Yes true, risk is still downside bias. Especially when i look at the dollar accross other currencies.

AUD could still fall, with gbp and euro. Then all rise together

We'll have tricky weeks ahead, but interesting

February 5th on a daily chart with the upside wick has a lot of sellers on it. Maybe there will be a gap down sunday pushing through these 2019 lows.
