Don't contact Dean Malone about the TDI. The way he uses it for his method is 180 degrees from how we use it... you need to learn how to use it our way... The TDI is the heart of our method. It tells you when to enter and where to exit any trades... so review previous posts and learn it good. HA Candles are important because it makes your trading way less stressful... use them. Stoch's is nothing but confirmation. If Stoch's & the TDI give different signals... lights flash off and on warning me to take a closer look before entering.. and usually...

5 ema... shows direction currently... only wanting to enter on candle 1 or two. If there is a reversal do I have a TDI signal to enter... if not and all looks strong then enter on candle 2... use some discretion... practice on Demo... take some chances and see if yor head computer was right... it's free.

Learn to spot the True REVERSAL candle and master that as one of your TradingMadeSimple skill.
When you can spot the reversal, then the 'if' is a conditional logical check if there is price momentum which the TDI#25 green line will signal you for the trade entry.

EUR and GBP cross pairs Daily Feb 06

yesterday I started selling GBPAUD and have open sell positions and need to re-do my position sizing today.... build carefully and slowly.

today with two good choices - EURNZD and GBPNZD, my decision is an obvious one... mitigate overall account risks and maintain a healthy margin for taking the BIG ONES when opportunities come my way.

In this EURNZD example, TDI cross on daily happening now but Stoch cross happened 100pips earlier and also 4hr cross happened earlier. So you entered already looking at 4hr cross or you are entering now with TDI cross on daily.

Hi Emmanuel , that’s the part that I am very confuse . Let’s said all good then we enter on the first two candles , but what do you mean by if there is a reversal , then do we have a TDI signal to enter ? If not and all looks strong then enter on candle 2 . Is that mean we enter on candles 2 if there are no reversal ? I am trading daily timeframe and always will be late for my reversal candle trade . Do you mind to show some real life examples ? Thanks and appreciate

* Not just only Emmanuel , anyone that have the knowledge/experience can share their thoughts

Hi team. I'm new here, have been reading about TMS strategy and would like to give it a try. My question is what are the recommended/correct settings for my TDI & Heiken Ashi indicators? l understand stochastic is set at 8,3,3.

Thanks

first study these and watch those two videos.
I'll explain later with chart examples.

When the Stoch(8,3,3) and the EMA(2) of the RSI(13) data both show the same 12-2 and 4-6 angles , these are usually the best trade setups where the price action shows strong price momentum to jump into the market.

Here are the links to those videos and a pdf.

the swing high / swing low as explained in these videos which were posted in Big E'old thread.

There are few lessons from that Post#718. > to see how PA interacts with the 5ema line during the trade. Gives me a better feel for what's going on... > use the 5EMA for the conservative (conserative) setup candle, this still work today.

The above piece is from post #718. However, what followed below is Emmanuel's opinion--unless he has some data to present that support such a bold claim.

If you try the aggressive entry, you will lose more than you would win. Many traders have gone that path and lost and given up.

Please replace "Many" with the actual number of traders that you found that traveled "that path" and "lost and given up." I am confident that there are many other readers here that would be interested in statistics such as these.

And as long as you are checking your data base for that number, please include the number of traders that you found that traveled "that path" but emerged as winners.

Hi juanmahache

very good encouragement ... I fully agree with you.

does not hurt nor harm anyone wanting to follow the trading journey of the OP when he started as a newbie in 2008 and learn everything from him and even get to know the man better.

read the old thread and when he said in his old thread ... jump Post#4432 to this new thread title Trading Made Simple , under Trading Systems then follow him,...

in this new thread, we also read starting at Post#1 and up to his last post Post#12,912.

You wont regret doing this.

Why do you want to limit yourself to read those pdfs which are incomplete and do not have all the information and you will missed many important questions and answers and topic discussions.

Learn EVERYTHING... then master trading his 5-Method through lots of screen time and doing live trading in live market conditions.

Craig Harris Stochastics CHS Method still working today trading GBPUSD M15 during the London session.

No need to add the TDI to that method.

Divergence, That was just one of many methods we discussed. Folks were getting confused by mixing up rules from different methods so this thread will only be about the 5 method.

when Dean Malone Synergy' TDI is added to the CHS method as additional confirmation of the reversal setup.... it becomes the new 5-Method.

EUR and GBP cross pairs Feb 07 Open,

I have open positions in GBPAUD and EURNZD pairs, just need to be patient and let the market do its thing.

Follow the APB/HA candles and the 5EMA, use %Risk and do Position Sizing for every position when averaging.

Do Not be GREEDY. Do Not OVERTRADE ... just one pair from each of the group. Keep you Margin Level healthy and you won't be stressed out with floating DD. Keep some margin for the BIG ONE which come your way.
