You could use a dashboard (take a look at the looong dashboard thread) and apply the same Magic Number

Until now I was able to get out of all days with profit, but many times it was over some days and I needed to adjust manually with a kind of hedging within certain ranges. I am always jealous when I see Jeff and Ghosty shouting "CLOSED WITH 3% PROFIT" after 20 minutes and mine are heading way south...

But I will not give up. It's a nice game ;-)

Just started using this system ( as of yesterday). Have I missed some tweaks, cause I'm sitting with 2 open buys for eurjpy and eurcad. Cad still in the red, but jpy is a bit in profit. Being new to the system I deleted the 1 eurjpy buy order cause I haven't built up faith in the system yet. There qas also a eurnzd that opened and closed immediately. So basically I wanna know how Jeff has already taken profit, and how GB has 6 trades going. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Hihi, I forgot one LC-EA and so I was running two of them on different brokers: exactly the same result. And all closed with profit (basket). Maybe tonight I will get some sleep. If not, I will need holidays after my holidays... (at least it's raining)

Tuesday's GBPAUD was still running. I managed to get off cheaply, but it was a big fight. Two days and nights, I feel like the old man and the sea... just that my fish has not been eaten on the way ;-)

As an engineer, one of my favourites is the Fourier analysis. Together with Fibo makes a good couple:

Agreed - I am using very conservative settings so that 2% loss was over 200 pips on the GBPAUD..BUT still up over 400 pips for the month after 4 'easy' wins today...the question is whether to continue with the GBP pairs - GBPJPY and GBPUSD have almost been 100% wins, but GBPAUD very expensive..will reduce to just the GBPUSD and GBPJPY going forward.

But this time you cannot blame it on GBP: it was the AUD with some strong market news. Take a look at the other AUD pairs.

Hey ursinho. I am curious how are u using Fourier to analyze the market? I have only seen the analyze used to TRANSPOSE say frequencies to system or a "frequency" domain from which then you can conduct calculations in a much more mathematical fashion vs having to do complex convolutions to the "normal" frequencies. (Yep, yep Engineer here too ).

If you can point me to some reference that would be awesome....

Agreed and on second thoughts I have reinstated GBPAUD GBPCHF GBPNZD (+ GBPJPY and GBPUSD) - a quick tally of Jan to date showed the first three only lost 70 pips with the 2% stop out so nothing dramatic. I have increased basket risk to 3%, which would have added around 200 pips after the GBPAUD trades retraced 100 pips with that AUD news, and allow the system to 'breath'. This will still require manual intervention but the aim is to leave it to its own devices for the majority of the time..

A little bit off-topic ;-)
I use a Fourier Indicator to analyze the frequency of the "signal". Especially in a sideways market, when to expect highs and lows. The amplitude is not reliable, but the frequency and anticipating the future signal is sometimes scary acurate. You'll have to find the right timeframe though. Compared with a linear regression line, it is really astonishing.
I did not find a strategy yet, but I use it to get a feeling for a pair...

Another example, again XAUUSD, 15 minutes timeframe. Okay, the FFT missed the low, but "knew" already 2 hours ago abot the last high. See how beatifully the candles hit the fibo lines...
