yes im not stupid, I am talking about dow 40k.... but thats what ur telling us all. that you are not calling tops until a top right side rhombusf .. which only forms when we start to see lower highs being formed... and we dont see one yet with higher highs being formed as we speak....

no... off course not... at 40000 level the whole idea will obviously lose its credibility...at least in regards to a potential diamond formation... that would be too far already... though for as long as a broadening triangle stays more or less symmetrical it would be fine with me... you've got to understand that the diamond idea is just a projection at this point, while the actual position must be taken only on a real entry signal, which for me comes in the form of one of my templates...

this is actually very vague.... perhaps show us how ur gona draw your diamond formation now? because i dont think you have one at these levels....

at this point the ideal symmetry comes at 28440... though, like I said, I don't pick tops or bottoms as I always chose the stops level in advance and even before choosing the actual entry level... at this moment there is no place for reliable stops...

now the diamond has nothing to do with it... there must be an intraday signal to enter shorts along with reliable and meaningful stops level... 10K pips drop from current levels is guaranteed no matter what.... whether it will actually be a diamond or not...

even if it reaches symmetry at 28440, nothing guarantees the 10k point down....

I drew it but didn't trade... I wasn't interested in stocks back then... I just told about it to all my friends and customers involved in the stock market and warned them of a huge potential trouble... I guess that picture should also be posted somewhere in my old main thread dedicated to my method here on FF... though instead I traded yet another diamond formed on the EUR/JPY and eventually made the biggest profit (percentage-vise) in my entire career over just 2 or 3 months... here is the picture of that diamond also...

okay understand what you're trying to portray....

but ill ride on this bull market and ill do my best to be first to get out at any sign of exhaustion/weakness and i dont see the indications yet. if anything indicators are accelerating.

Would be such a good bargain to enter long that low....but you said a 10k pips drop from current level is guaranteed, but can it rise a few k pips first before dropping? or you are seeing the current level (more or a less) as a potentiel top ?

thats exactly my point... market is pointing towards another 1-2k up move in the Dow before any chance of a proper correction....
odds are calling for Atleast 10% increase for the year of 2020

extremely unlikely... have never seen anything like that... here is how it usually works... there are two types of diamonds and six different shapes of them... some are reversal only, some are continuation only and some can be both... continuation diamonds are normally getting formed at or quite close to the middle of a particular trend... thus they have measured objective targets (MOT)... the diamond formed on the Dow in 2014-2016 has already reached its MOT. it has no business much higher than that and must return back to touch that old continuation diamond once again... if you compare this very chart on the Dow with the chart on the crude oil from 2011 and up to 2013 you will not be able to see the difference with your naked eye... by this time they look like identical twins despite being formed in different times and in different markets...

Well, i'm dreaming of such a fall to add lower...because buying up that high is crazy, and it looks like it wants to head higher

first one has symmetry... and second not so much....

but both goes to show you a continuation after the formation.... so its not always the case of it being a selloff......

that's what I've been talking about from the very beginning... most likely you will get a good chance to buy dow at around 5000 mark...
