Guys we're going over old ground with the extreme spike idea. It is very similar to "i Symphonie" indi which I tried and ditched a few years ago. It constantly repaints. Have a look at the old TMA thread. I'm not saying don't use it but none of these indi's can be used in isolation

Really I think it's a case of using them all together and also ema cross - or at least price cross ema and retest - in addition to the all the arrows. That way one is not caught out by repaints!
Mtinifx, actually extreme spike can't be used as a stand alone indi but when combined with BTM arrow (credit to joeef JFC indi) and in direction of main trend 1hr like in the pic, it posee as a great potential trade

NB: moreover I don't think I am supposed to answer on this thread because I am learning from you guys

Extreme spike works the same as zigzag, semafor... They point out swing high, swing low so they repaint for a good purpose. I think this is how Rivilearner combine C arrow and Ex spike

Better will be to enter in the direction of the trend.
Most times c arrow might not show up during extreme spike but during normal spike which is still a valid signal.

"Repaint for a good purpose"? Not sure how that helps anyone but OK if you think so mate, that's fine!

Anyway once we see you and Rivilearner posting some sucessful trades using this method, we're all yours! As I said above if you actually read my posts, I said none of these indi's should be used in isolation. Combined with other signals, arrows, dots, and ema cross, etc., might give a better signal but nothing works good without an experienced visual vetting of the situation, including even the time of day, before one actually opens a trade.

BTW, I don't even see the "extreme spike" in the charts on the link you posted!

Its about concept, bud. Not particularly Ex spike and C arrow:
- multi tf TMA, multi MA... --> big trend, small trend
- ex spike, semafor, zz, cycle... --> lower high, higher low
- C arrow, supertrend, halftrend, ... --> entry signal
And hey, why there are so many "!" in your post!!! It looks too serious, lol!!!

thanks for sharing your idea......could you please explain more how to use extreme spice indi ??? it is not clear for me ......

Entry is from the C arrow and Extreme spike also best when below or above the 60mins band just like you indicated.
For reversal, you find out that if you have traded the red BTM arrow while there is an extreme spike and above the band, you would still make profit but trade cautiously!!!
This is another trade I entered today using this same system, though still not perfect
closed the trade @ 122.447 a little bit above R1
