I guess the first step is to establish where you are in your EA development and see where we want to be. I think you said you had coded the original BTM method with

our indicators and also your own, reversal method.

If this is the case then I would like to know what is the entry criteria for the original BTM method. I have some thoughts on this...but let's see where you are at first.

A first name would be nice too.

Ok thanks Cfudge, the reversal will be added into the EA, but not yet. It is going to use an extra indicator for validation since its counter trend. I have been manual trading it and back checking it.

So this is where I am and its the original criteria of BTM.

1. The Use of the Bands for H4 trend.

2. The Use of xSuper Trend and the C indicator for signals in the direction of the H4 trend. (I have asked a friend on Telegram a couple of weeks back who is great at finding fast non repaint indicators to seek 1 out for me so we can get into the market faster than when thee 2 suggest). He has made some suggestions that I am yet to look at.

3. The use of M15 bands and M30 bands to avoid entering pullbacks in the direction of the H4 trend.

4. Other filters like:
a. Set to True if you want to Buy when a signal pops up at candle close below the mid band and vice versa for sell.
b. Set to True if you want to Buy when a candle opens below the mid band but closes above it and vice versa for sell.
c. Disregard options a and b and just trade generally.

5. Take a Buy or Sell when and only when you see a Support or Resistance to use as your Take Profit (This can be set to True Or False)

6. Exit at Support 1 and Resistance 1.

7. Exit at Support 2 and Resistance 2.

8. I also added an option to exit at mid band, or the distance between the mid band and upper band as well as mid band and lower band.

Someone on this thread suggested a risk management analysis to me using the resistance and support. I haven't considered that and I doubt I would as I already told him most times I love to flow with he market. I am one who loves to be in harmony with the market. Too much logic trying to avoid a bad trade can shut you out from taking a good trade that will net off and over shadow the bad trade in the long run.

However, this is my major concern, I think in the bid of focusing on a replacement for the C indicator, we might have missed out the fact that the D indicator might not just be the normal TMA by mladen out there like the one you posted. But BTM might have done some adjustments to get the results gotten on the dashboard. I might be wrong but since mid last week, in the bid to swap the D indicator with the ones out there including the one you posted, the results have not been the same. And by the same I mean fewer trades or a disparity from what is seen on chats. I and my coder are taking a closer look at this quickly with the view of the expiry date been nigh. Hence I was asking if anyone had heard from Fred.

Here is my BTM Scanner (Indicator)

- Blue Button = Up Trend
- Red Button = Down Trend
- Big Font Size = Up Arrow Signal
- Small Font Size = Down Arrow Signal

Alert ON (red color) means Alert is ON
Alert OFF (blue color) means Alert is OFF
When you change the symbol, It will auto turn to Alert OFF, so you need to Turn it ON again if you want Alerts.

This indicator no need C & D indicator. (build-in)

Nice work so far...

Here are a few screen shots of what I perceive to be a valid way to enter the BTM trades. Basically, as previously discussed, I am waiting for the xsupertrend to give a cross of the daily pivot in the appropriate direction and with the right colour and only when TP1 is inside bands.

Additionally, I think if TP1 is inside bands then that is the whole trade, if TP2 is inside bands then close % of trade at TP1, move to BE (optional) and wait for TP2.

I will add more later...going to work.

I can get exact same slope results with BTM dashboard via TMA by mladen indi but while reading via iCustom method sometimes getting random incorrect values from TMA band by mladen. You or your coder can contact me from telegram (https://t.me/LastSonOfTheSun) so that i can share my (slope calculation/reading values from TMA band indicator) code, experience and discuss about other issues i had. I can share it here but it is part of a bigger project lol.

thanks for this. i have loaded it and it works perfectly, but i think an option should be available to allow alerts go on/off when the charts have changed.

did you have any significant results in Back-tests of your EA so far, or still you work on it.
some people are working hard on BBMA+BTM EA, every source code and significant result can help us.
