How profitable has everyone been with this strategy? Find that there are many false signals if we follow the rules exactly..

Agreed, it's only slightly less than flat. Perhaps not a clean signal. Would you be comfortable showing a detailed trade entry with SL, TP and entry when you find a good trade Oddbj?

Lately me being so conservative and cautious, I have held my peace, and haven't been super active in taking positions.
It is mostly because of how GBP is behaving.
I sometimes post here on BK8's thread the positions that I take .
F.ex. EurCad & CadChf yesterday. For that I was 55-60% sure.

Went in after yersterday's candle when it succeeded in attacking mid bb. The wicks had me almost abhere from going in.
But since EUR was weak average and CAD was strong average - it made me think it was 55-60%.

Would this be correct entry and SL positions? If yes, now the position would be in small loss.

SL = previous candle high + 15 pips after the system.

Thanks Oddbj, just taking note of the SL for this trade, it's 150pips. But trust in the system, sometimes it works sometimes it fails. All the best after the upcoming EUR news.

Probably I am coming a bit late here, but whatever.
As Oddbjørg was saying, it's not been a quite clear signal. MA5 is still neutral.
Here is what I see. NZ broke trough a resistance level but could not stay above. But it's been a HH (so technically a moderate move up on Daily). Now there should come a re-test to confirm the move down (or a break up again and a re-test there). Usually I would look for the trigger (pattern) in the H4 chart. Fibo levels can help too.

... not sure that makes sense.

Thanks Et, I like your charts, they're really clean. Are you waiting for a bearish engulfing on h4 as confirmation to go short?

Have you taken any trades these 2 days based on this system?

Most nzd pairs look like a short opportunity today

The power of patience.... 2 weeks later and now back to where I started. Finally managed to close the trades in a decent profit. There is only one additional trade in there, a EURUSD winner.

So what have I learned?
1. putting the stop 15 pips behind the previous swing rather than the signal candle helped keep the trades alive
2. Trust that the signal is good, even if the trade goes against you, but use a stoploss just in case
3. A good system doesn't become a bad one overnight just because of one bad day.
