FORMAL IMPEACHMENT to be announced on Tuesday. Market dropped on it.

If anyone is interested... interesting thing I found... Pull up a 20yr chart. Every time a republican is in the house.. Dollar goes UP. Democrat? Down. Also when Clinton was in trouble? Up. Bush? Down.

Many of us have mentioned a rise to 109 109 area and a drop afterwards. This looks to be the up part?

How realistic is this impeachment?

there is an anonymous witness who anonymously complained during anonymous proceedings to prove that Trump did something wrong?

makes no sense and I think that the market will bounce back higher once the accusation is established to be fake news

I don't put much stock in the phone call. As the story comes out it seems there is more however we shall see. I don't put much stock in it either. As I see it the folks who put him in office aren't done yet. We haven't gone to war, so I see another term personally. My only hold out is that they squelched the whistleblower. That and when I heard he wasn't paying Ukraine I found the explanation weak. My current thought is that they are going to release a different call, but that is the New York suspicion in me. Interesting times!

BTW.. to correction. Formal impeachment INQUIRY.

If "anonymous" was a nobody, I don't think it would get this much attention. Think deepthroat - watergate.

Regardless of how realistic impeachment is, I think it makes the US dollar look weak, no matter the outcome.

Just my 2 cents. I'm not a pundit or anything like that.

Think if everyone sees it, whats gonna happen? Why fight it. Previously the bat wing didnt even form, price dropped 2200 points. This time the wing formed, with RATES dropping, adding further downward pressure on the USDJPY pair.
