i hope it will climb to 110 according to h4 but my early buy entry from 107.52 is stressing price should not go less than 107,30 lets see what will happen stop is manual around 107

USD/JPY's Diminishing Short Position Reduces The Upside Risk

  1. USD/JPY teeters on the edge, a drop to cloud top at 107.19 is on the cards
  2. IMM data for the week ending Sept. 17 saw a reduced short of -$2.8bln short
  3. EBS data since Sept. 17 shows a further cut of shorts and associated stops
  4. Spot sees a 107.32-107.77 range, according to prices on the EBS
  5. Talk of decent offers near 108.00, which should keep a lid on the market
  6. EUR/JPY's correlation with USD/JPY high, 30/60-day logs are +0.75/+0.72

This is a longer term perspective. Do you traders think usd/jpy is going to re-test the longterm support/resistance line of around 101 or will it hold 105 level ?

The last time price was down to 101 was in late 2016 (after the U.S. presidential election), after which time it has been ranging between 104.5 and 114.7, shown in black on the attached chart. No one can really predict what will happen next or if we will have a similar outcome after the next presidential election, all you can really do is play close attention to the charts and indicators.

In my personal opinion, I think in the near future we continue to have the same support at 104.5, but a lower resistance near 109.5. If it breaks below that support, then we will have a better understanding if UJ is truly downtrending towards 101 or lower.

The USDJPY retraces to the 55 day EMA zone, but it stalls around that level just below the 108.00 level. From the current level, the price may head in any direction, but the 107.00 level could act as support and the 109.00 level could act as resistance.

have some R there also at 108, don't think I'll take it today if we reach.....sneaky support 106.48....maybe...
