PATIENCE,CONFIDENT and COURAGE.. main things that need inside all of us.. nothing will come in easy at early stage of learning somethings... don’t trading a lots of pairs at same time bad...

Hi Akim i am a new trader i have been attached to this thread for a few months now just reading from everybody's post's . I was trying to pick up courage to contribute to post's . I don't know you but you are really good guy genuine person i was looking at threads and this one is the one i chose from . I have many questions and thought to pick your brain . when trading a pair, follow the steps i follow every monday

  1. what is the current bank rates who is stronger ; like usd 2% ECB 0% so SHORT eur BUY usd will earn more
  2. next look at the last 10 fundamental news events of each currency and the next 10 events and how the can effect the banks decision to change rates
  3. when the above 2 steps are completed I have a roadmap for the week
  4. this roadmap guides me to setup traffic signs on bends and curves to avoid accidents using technical charts
  5. when the road signs are setup I start driving my trading car always respecting the road signs and trying to avoid idiotic trump tweet traffic

trading is so simple

You forgot one thing .. see which pairs are trending on weekly / daily( if any )

Euro is stuck in 80 pip channel for two weeks now .. very boring to trade

some eur news today might move it into some form of trend .

My pairs to intraday trade are gold , oil , Dax , Dow, gbp as intraday ranges are 230 , 140,130,240 and 117 points respectively . Euro is currently 65 pip atr only .

Here is food for thought

some in this room are swing traders, some scalpers, some intraday traders

for the scalpers and intraday traders ....

there are two times Ike's of day to trade , London open for 1.5 hours ( sometimes good )

the us / London overlap and open of us stock markets ( always good ) and most volatile time of day .

i often only trade the overlap as I trade oil gold and indices mostly and this is their most volatile times .I am In the market 2.5 hour a day to make some profit . new traders get caught in a web of looking at charts all day long . Remember we trade to give us freedom , not to be a slave to the charts all day .

on Friday the Foreign Investors in Indian Stock markets were slaughtered wholesafe cause they were net short in a 3 decade massive bull run lol

and the bull run continues today also giving no room to escape

Thank you so much for this. I have learnt a lot and I will follow this pattern of trading in the overlap of UK and US market hours because I previously looked at the chart almost all day.
