Thank you! That will definitely help a lot. I need to look into it a little more as I am unfamiliar with EA's. I have noticed some of the posts that mentioned the cavemanager but I wasn't exactly sure how it work or even how to use it

Here is a selection of trailing stop experts. I am currently testing the FPA breakeven trailing stop. The cavemanager EA recalculates based on the current chart so if you jump TF for example the M5 to get a better entry then CM is all messed up hence I cannot use it. A standalone trading PC is probably the best option for CM with a different PC used for adding more trades.
Make sure that MT4 autotrading button is enabled and the EA icon in the top right has a smiley face.
Let us know which EA if any works best for you.
I have also found swingmans RR calculator indi very useful if you choose to do a TP. Set your TP to 2R minimum which should be twice your SL. Losing trades =1R and the winning trades make up for the losers =2R
Or just leave the trailing stop to end your trade for you, hopefully with a minimum of a few pips should the trade go against you.

You could try it out and let us know. There is a HA tape indicator for trade confirmation if you really need to see the candlesticks without the HA candles.

Cheers RH. I don't suppose you can expand on your statement? Is there a way for us newbies to spot this easier.
I can see the Weekly is in a upswing on a downtrend
and the daily is in downswing on an uptrend.
sounds like consolidation if they all disagree?

I am playing around with something new that I thought I would share. I don't know if it's something I'll keep using but I find it interesting.

Let me first say that today is the first time that I have used this indicator (in real time) and I radically altered it from it's original settings because I wanted to use it in a completely different way. BTW, it repaints to a degree, but that doesn't affect how I am using very much.

I am using it to prevent me from taking trades in the opposite direction that the two bands are pointing AND as a way to stay in trades longer by staying with the trend

SwingMan created it and it's called: smLazyTMA Bands v1

Now you've done it RH... you've opened up Pandora's Box of questions that are sure to flood the thread and your inbox I'm sure it will help a lot of traders once they get the hang of it. The TMA bands are magical for my trading, and thanks to you, I'm sticking with the higher time frames, just haven't had much time to trade recently with finalizing my business sale. Keep up your great work!
